'USA? Britain? Which country is better to study in?' We often hear such discussions. As China opens its door, it is a dream for many Chinese students to study abroad. They want to learn about the outside world.
     It's true that studying abroad can help students develop themselves. Their foreign language skills will be improved and it may be easier to find jobs.
     But there are problems that should be considered. Language is the first. Students must spend a lot of time learning another language.

    Although the idea seems a little unrealistic （不现实的），it is necessary．According to a new report，American people produce the largest amount of the litter in the world．Each person produces almost 4.6pounds of litter every day．More than half of the litter which is put into landfills is harmful ． Actually，this is bad for the environment．Besides this，more landfills（填埋场） are needed．

    "Nobody wants to have a landfill lying near his house，"said Jon D．Johnson from the Environmental Protection Agency，which helps to carry out"zero waste"activity．"There are not enough landfills，so we can't put all our litter into them．We should try to recycle it as much as we can．"

    It is a fine Saturday morning. Bob and his family get up later than usual, because he isn't going to school and his father and mother aren't going to work. They are all staying at home, but they are not free. Each of them is doing a different thing.

    ● Plan your time carefully. When you plan a trip, one of the first things you must do is to make a list of things. If you don't, you are almost certain to leave something important at home. When you plan your week, you should make a list of things that you have to do. Otherwise, you may forget to leave enough time to complete them.

    ● Find a good place to study. Look around the house for a good study place. Keep this space, which may be a desk or a corner of your room, free of everything but study materials. No computers, radios or televisions! If you can't find such a place at home, find a library where you can study.

    ● Make a good plan of your study. In class you should pay attention to what the teacher says. Sit where you can see and hear well. Good listening in class means less work later. You should take notes, too. After class you should go over your notes. Review the important points that your teacher mentioned. If you know what your teacher is going to discuss next day, read them first. This will help you understand the next class better.
