Students these days often have a lot of worries. Sometimes they have 1 with their schoolwork, and sometimes with their friends. Some people think the worst thing is to do 2 Laura, a teenager from America agrees. "Problems and 3 are normal in life, says Laura." But I think 4 to someone helps a lot. If we don't talk to someone, we'll certainly feel 5."
Laura once lost her purse and worries for days. She was 6 to tell her parents about it. She even 7 three miles to school each day because she didn't have any money. She just kept thinking, "if I tell my parents, they will be angry!" But 8 she talked to her parents and they were 9 understanding. "Why not tell me earlier?" smiled her father. He said he sometimes made careless mistakes himself. So they got her a new 10 and asked her to be more careful. "I will always 11 to share my problems in the future!" Laura says.
Robert Hunt, an expert, advises students about common problems. He feels the same way as Laura. "It's the best not to 12 our problems. We should always try to solve them." He thinks that you can first find someone to talk to, and the person 13 be an expert like him. Students often forget that their 14 have more experience, and are always there at home to help them.
In English, we say that 15 a problem is like cutting it in half. So you're halfway to solve a problem if you talk to someone about it!

Most of my sweet memories are from my childhood. There are always so many interesting things in the far away village where I grew up. One thing that leaves a deep impression on me is shearing the sheep.
In my village, sheep are washed and sheared (剪毛) sometime in the month of June. This should be done quite early in the month, before the hot days begin.
It's best for the sheep to have the wool taken off, or they will be too hot in the summer time. When the time comes for washing the sheep, they are driven to a pond or a little river. Then they are thrown into the water, one at a time. The men who are in the water catch them, and wash them to get the dirt all out of the wool. When the wool is dry, the sheep are taken to the shearer; and he cuts off the wool with a large pair of shears. In a short time, before the cold winter comes, new wool grows out on the sheep. By the coming of spring, there is so much that it must be cut off soon.

We all know that exercise is good for your health. But some kinds of exercise may be better than others. Running, for example, may help to protect against heart disease and other health problems. Running may also help you live longer.
Recently, researchers studied more than 55,000 adults. About a quarter of the adults have a good habit of running. The study found these runners were much healthier than non-runners. In fact, the runners lived, on average(平均), three years longer than the non-runners.
Running may be good exercise, but it can be difficult on the body. Here are commonly shared ideas among fitness experts(健身专家) to lower the risk of injury(受伤) for people who are new to running.
⊙Take it easy.
Do not run too much, too soon or too fast. Most people get running injuries when they push themselves too hard. The body needs time to get used to increases in distance(里程) or speed.
⊙ Get good running shoes.
There is no single best shoe for every runner. You should find the shoe that offers the best fit and support for your feet. More importantly, you should have a new pair of shoes every 500 to 800 kilometers.
⊙Take good notes.
Take time after each run to write down notes about what you did and how you felt. Look for things that happen again and again. For example, you may find that your knees hurt when you run sometimes. But perhaps you feel great when you have a rest between running days. These notes will help you make the best plan for running.

Imagine one day, the water taps in your house stop running. You have to buy water from shops. And still there isn't enough for everyone. Your mother has to save the family's shower water to do other things. Would you be able to stand that kind of life?
Probably not. But that is what kids in Yemen are experiencing. Experts said Yemen is going to be the first country in the world to run out of water. According to a report, the capital, Sana, will run out of drinking water as early as 2025.
Because of the shortage, the government often cuts the water supply. Hannan, an 18-year-old from Lahej, told the Times: "In a good week we'll have a water supply all week. But then the following week there will be water only for a day or two."
Hannan said only rich people have enough water to use. They can buy water from the shops or from the water truck. Private companies own the trucks. They travel around the city every day to sell water – at very high prices.
"A lot of people can't afford it," she said.
The average person in Yemen uses 100 to 200 cubic meters of water per year. That is far below the international water poverty line (贫困线)of 1,000 cubic meters.
The government is thinking of making use of seawater. But it will cost a lot and it may not happen soon enough to help the people of Yemen.

Animals are people's friends. But many wild animals are facing the (危险) of dying out, because the environment that they are living has (变化) greatly. Their living area has become (小) than before because of (污染) and the (发展) of cities. They have no room to live in (除了) the zoo. And many of the wild animals now can't find enough food to eat. At the same time, man is killing animals for their fur and meat. Now the situation is serious. So we should do something to (保护) the animals. For example, we should set up some nature reserves so that animals can live (自由) and stop people from (杀死) animals. Of course a (健康的) environment which has fresh air, clean water and green grass is also important for animals. Only in this way can we save them.
Nowadays, mobile phones are more and more popular, especially teenagers. Those people like to play with mobile phones all day (call) phubbers. One of the (reason) is that it is fun for them (spend) time playing with new kinds of mobile phone software, such as (chat) on Wechat. I think spending too much on mobile phones is bad for everyone. For a student, it will not only get in the way of study but also influence our health. My cousin was so (interest) in mobile phone games he lost his interests in any other subject. And he didn't enter the best high school in the town he did well enough in school when he (study) in primary school.
In my opinion, it's time to stop using mobile phones while we are studying, working, driving or walking. It's too dangerous to do that. Let's call on more young people: Don't be phubbers!
