Albert Einstein was a world famous scientist. He was born in Germany and later lived in America. He was best known for his theory of relativity(相对论). This theory changed the way we understand space and time. Einstein had wild hair and always looked deep in thought. He always reminded us to keep asking questions.
One day, a young man asked Albert Einstein what the secret of success was. The scientist told him that the secret of success was hard work. A few days later the young man asked the same question again. Einstein was very "annoved". He did not say anything, but wrote a few words on a piece of paper. On the paper it was written: A=X+Y+Z.
"What does this mean?" asked the young man.
"‘A' means success." explained the old scientist. "‘X'stands for hard work, ‘Y' forgood method(方法)and ‘Z' means stop talking and get down to work."

First Man is a picture book, it tells the story of Yang Liwei and his trip to space.
As we all know, Yang Liwei is China's first astronaut to fly into space. Yang was born on June, 21st, 1965 in the city of Huludao, Liaoning province. When he was 38 years old, he took Shenzhou-5 spaceship to space.
To help people get to know the Chinese space hero better and learn about his trip to space, the picture book was born. It is based on Yang's autobiography(自传)Long March to Space. In 2021, One Day in Space, a passage from Yang's book, was included in the seventh-grade textbook in Chinese middle schools.
Yang Liwei left for space at 9:00 on the morning of October 15th, 2003 and came back to the earth at 6:23 on the afternoon of October 16th. During the 21-hour stay in space, he flew around the earth 14 times. With great pictures and simple words, the book tells an exciting story as well as space science in an interesting way. From the book, we know that it is really ____ for people to travel in space. There is no gravity(重力)in space, so people don't feel comfortable. Yang's story tells us that nothing is impossible for a willing heart.
Wu Xiaoxi from the BSTP(北京科技出版社)came up with the idea of writing such a book. "There is a surprise in the book for readers-a picture of a rabbit looking at the moon," Wu says. "China plans to send people to the moon by 2030.We hope to write nice picture books at that time."

World Book Day is on April 23rd every year. It was set up by the UNESCO(联合国教科文组织)in 1995 to encourage people, especially teenagers, to find out the fun of reading. It is also the day to honor great writers, for example, William Shakespeare, born or dead on that day.
Many countries celebrate World Book Day. Take the UK as an example. On that day, millions of schoolchildren can buy books at a much lower price than usual in any bookstore. It has been done every year since 1998.
World Book Day is also celebrated in China. Xi Jinping, Chinese President, does lots of reading every day though he is very busy. On World Book Day 2020, he called on young people to do more reading. "Books cannot change the world, but people can change the world by changing themselves through reading." he said.
Reading can be good for people in many ways. Reading gives us information about other cultures and places of the world. When we read, we may find many things that we don't know. We would have to use our head to think about them or do more reading to find out the answers. The more we read, the more we know. The more we know, the smarter we become. What's more, reading is also one of the most important ways to learn a foreign language like English. We all know that it is difficult to learn everything in the classroom, such as the ways English people are speaking and writing today. Reading helps us.
"Reading makes a full man." Bacon said. Therefore, it is necessary for us to spend time on reading every day.
