Cai Zongqi is a teacher from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Having lived in the United States for nearly 40 years, he has spent around 30 years sharing his understanding of Chinese literature (文学) 1 his students.
In 2007, his book How to Read Chinese Poetrycame out. 2 book includes 143 famous Chinese poems. Cai said he couldn't find good teaching materials to perfectly explain 3 Chinese poems meant. With the help of the book, American students can understand Chinese poetry 4 than before.

Taiwan is famous for its night markets. It's fun for you to spend time walking through the night markets. It's common to find night markets in most cities and towns in Taiwan. They take place on the same streets every day. During the day, these streets are quiet. At night, there are crowds of people.
Usually people arrive at three or four in the afternoon. By 6:00 p.m., the streets are full of people, including many tourists. Foodies (吃货) can taste different kinds of snacks here. The food is not only delicious but cheap. When you're just a little hungry, you can buy some snacks. When you are really hungry, you can sit down for a meal.
