I decided to have a trip to the mountain in our town. My mother  (唤醒)me up early in the morning. We took some water in order not to be  (渴的). We didn't want to  (浪费)time, so we set off so early that there were few cars on the road. We could  (几乎不)see anybody in the street.

    We got there early. The mountain area was about 1, 0005 (平方的)kilometres. It had beautiful  (名胜). There were many kinds of  (外形)of rocks everywhere. Some were like  (人), some were like animals and others looked like monsters. We walked along the  (小路)and got to the top of the mountain. We could see the whole sight of our town. Mother  (指出)to the far away village and told me where my grandma's house was. We had a great time there.

    It is Sunday today. It's a sunny day, so I (询问) my friends Cindy and Linda to go out to have fun. In the morning, we walk to a park and have a (野餐) there. I'd like to go fishing, but Cindy and Linda don't go with me. They go to (放飞) a kite. In the afternoon, we go to the (海滩). It is far so we (乘坐) a bus there. There are (百) of people there and some of them are (游泳) in the sea. We go back home at about five o'clock. In the evening, I help my mother with the (家务劳动). Then we go to the market near my home and buy some (新鲜的) strawberries and lemons. I go to bed (早) at night. What a busy but great day!

    Life in the future will be different from life today. We will like the life because (机器) and robots will do all the heavy and difficult (工作). Working (小时) will be short and people will (有) more free time for sports, travelling and (看) TV. (旅行) will be easy. And many more people will go to other countries for (假期) .

    There will (有) changes in our food, too. More land will be used for building new towns and houses. Then there will be less room for cows and sheep, so meat will be more expensive. Maybe no one will eat it every day. Instead we will eat (更多) fruit and vegetables. (或许) people will be healthier because of less meat.

    Most children like having parties for their (生日). The birthday boy or girl (穿着) beautiful clothes. There is some delicious food, such as (蛋糕), ice cream, sandwiches and. fruit. Parents (总是) buy a big cake for the child and there are some candles on it. They play games, (唱歌), dance and eat. The boy or girl (切) the cake and everyone sings the Happy Birthday Song and says" (快乐的) birthday" to the birthday boy or girl.

    The children (通常) get gifts from their friends and parents. In (中国), children open the presents after the party. But in the US and England, children open them at once(立刻) and then (说) "Thank you."

    I'll never forget the first time I left my home for more than one or two nights. I was 11 years old, and I was going to a (夏天)camp for one month. When my parents first told me about the camp, I thought it was (令人激动的). There were all kinds of activities: swimming, baseball and even horseback riding. My mom helped me with (每件事情)I needed for the camp.

    The whole family (开车)me to the camp. When we arrived, I saw a lot of kids, but I didn't know anyone! I began to feel (可怕的). They gave me a little card with my name on it. At last the time came when my mom and dad said, "Well, Margie, goodbye. Don't (担心). And have a great time. We'll (经常)call you."

    I had a (特别的)feeling and wanted to cry. But just then (另一个)girl my age came up to me and said. "Hi, are you Margie? I'm Tammy. Come on, let's go see (马)." So off we went, and I had a wonderful month at camp.

    Welcome to Sydney! Sydney isn't the capital(城市), but it is really a great place for you to take a vacation. Every year many(游客)come to Sydney. From the beautiful beaches to great shopping centers, Sydney has something for everyone. And it's getting more and more(受欢迎的).

    For outdoor or sports fans, Sydney is just right for you. The(空气)is quite clean and fresh there. You can do(令人激动的) things , just like climbing or hiking . The beautiful beaches are good for water sports. If the weather is clear, you can enjoy(游泳)into the sea. But of course, it is also great for you to walk  (沿着) the beautiful white beaches and try to pick up some(特殊的)shells for yourself.

    If you go there, you can't(错过)Sydney Opera House because it is a symbol of the country. And one more good thing is that Australians are very friendly. You can(仍然)have a good time if you don't speak English well. So why don't you plan a trip now?

    I have an aunt, Aunt Sally. She lives in a small  (镇). She has a big house. You can find it (容易地). Just go  (沿着)Center Street. You can see a park on your (右边). Everyone can go to the park for  (免费). Now it's  (冬天). The weather is beautiful and  (晴朗的). But it's very  (寒冷的)and everything in the park is white. You can see many children making snowmen in the park. They are all wearing hats and sweaters to keep (温暖). Aunt Sally enjoys (花费)the whole afternoon watching the children there. How happy they are!

    J.K. Rowling was born in Bristol July 31st, 1965. She has one (年轻的) sister. Both of the girls loved listening to their father reading bedtime stories to them. They loved stories about the magical world. Rowling wrote her first story (叫做)Rabbit, at the age of six.

    How are you? My brother and I are having our （冬天） vacation. Yesterday we visited the museum. We got there by bus. And then we climbed the （山）. At noon, we （步行）to the restaurant to （吃）lunch. The food was delicious. It was cheap,（也）. We（去）shopping in the afternoon. I bought a scarf. We returned to the （旅馆）very late but I didn't （感觉）very tired. Today we have a （新的）idea. We'll go skating tomorrow. I am （肯定）we'll have a very good time.
