I'll never forget the first time I left my home for more than one or two nights. I was 11 years old, and I was going to a (夏天)camp for one month. When my parents first told me about the camp, I thought it was (令人激动的). There were all kinds of activities: swimming, baseball and even horseback riding. My mom helped me with (每件事情)I needed for the camp.

    The whole family (开车)me to the camp. When we arrived, I saw a lot of kids, but I didn't know anyone! I began to feel (可怕的). They gave me a little card with my name on it. At last the time came when my mom and dad said, "Well, Margie, goodbye. Don't (担心). And have a great time. We'll (经常)call you."

    I had a (特别的)feeling and wanted to cry. But just then (另一个)girl my age came up to me and said. "Hi, are you Margie? I'm Tammy. Come on, let's go see (马)." So off we went, and I had a wonderful month at camp.
