    There are a lot of teachers in the world now. Teachers are very important. They teach students Maths, many languages, Art, Music and so on. Teachers help people know many things. Many people love teachers. But teaching work is hard. In China, Teachers' Day is on September 10th. This is a nice day for teachers.

    I'm Larry. I was born on August 12, 1994. I go to Park Avenue School. I'm in Grade 6. I have a pet. She is smart and cute. My favourite season is summer. In summer, I can wear a T-shirt and shorts. I was very excited to win a prize for playing the violin. My parents were proud of me. When I am older, I want to be a computer programmer or an English teacher.

    Tom is seven. He goes to school every day. The school is near his home. So he goes there on foot and comes back home on time (准时). But today he is late. His mother asks him: "Why are you late today?" "I was in the teachers' office." "Why did you go to the teachers' office?" "Because my teacher asked us a question in class, and nobody (没有人) could answer it, but me."
