    The man decided to help the little tree. He used his axe to cut down the trees. Then the little tree had enough room. The little tree felt happy and said thanks to the man. When the Sun came out, the little tree{#blank#}4{#/blank#}water and it became very thirsty. Later when a storm came, the little tree lost all its leaves and branches(树枝).

    Many years ago, there was a family named Franklin. They lived in Boston. There were five girls and six boys in the family. On a January day in 1706 another baby was born. For example, he tried to know if there was some way to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} farther, maybe with something on his hands or feet. Slowly a picture of swimming shoes, or paddles, grew in his {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. The paddles must be neither too{#blank#}10{#/blank#} nor too small. And they must be neither too heavy nor too light. At last he invented the paddle for swimming.
