Who do you think is the greatest athlete（运动员）in China?

Su Bingtian {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（感动）my heart so much! On August the first of 2021, Su Bingtian set a new record of 9.83 seconds in the Tokyo Olympics, making him the first Chinese runner to enter the final in the event.

He said, "I am so proud of my {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（结果）. I can write my name into history {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（严肃地）now and will work harder and run faster.

But being {#blank#}4{#/blank#}（成功的）was never easy for Su. He started running at his early age. Because of injury（伤）, Su once had to stop running for years. He even planned to retire in 2017 {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（在……里面）his heart. But the call to question {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（他自己）brought Su back to the track. He realized that he wouldn't take the chance to enter the final competition {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（除非）he finished the semifinal in less than 10 seconds.

To encourage himself, Su set a {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（私人的）goal of 9.89 seconds. He even made the number his password for his phone and computer {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（一起）.

Months ago, many {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（记者）spoke, "he hopes his performance today could be as an inspiration for younger players in their sporting careers."

It was a cold afternoon. Ginny and I were walking home after work {#blank#}1{#/blank#} suddenly a young man came. He asked Ginny if she wanted a hug. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} sign which read "Free Hugs" was in his hand. There were other people with him. They {#blank#}3{#/blank#}( hold) their handmade signs high.

"Sure!"Ginny smiled and walked up to him {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(slow). She hugged him with all the love she had in her heart. "Wow!" he said. "That is {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(warm) hug I've had all day!" Then the young man asked.me {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(give) a hug. I walked into his open arms and said, "You.got it!" Then we parted.

A young lady walked up {#blank#}7{#/blank#} hugged Ginny. Then she hugged me too. I felt the warmth filling my heart. Ginny and I were going through a hard time. We were stressed and worried {#blank#}8{#/blank#} life, but on that afternoon, for a short moment, it was forgotten completely.

"‘Free Hugs' was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives," said the young man. Ginny and I stepped back and watched them work their magic with those who accepted {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (they). They offered hugs to everyone.

It took a simple hug to make all {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(thing) better.

Recently I had a trip to Sydney with my parents. We visited the Wildlife Park.

The Wildlife Park has lots of different animals. Some are native( 当地的 ) to Australia and can only be found there. There are more than 500 animals there, including kangaroos, koalas and crocodiles( 鳄鱼 ). They are kept in their natural environment. I like the Wildlife Park better than a zoo. In zoos, most of the animals are in cages( 笼子).

We first spent some time with the kangaroos. We could touch and feed them. It was very exciting to be so close to them. There were koalas there, too. They looked very cuddly(令人想拥抱的 ). Although we couldn't carry koalas, I could take a photo with one. It is a wonderful souvenir( 纪念品) of my holiday in Sydney.

The Wildlife Park has plenty of freshwater and saltwater crocodiles. Some of them are. very big and scary with huge teeth!I did not want to get too close to them.

There was also a bird show. The keepers showed us different species of birds. I saw an old parrot. It could " talk" and made a great impression on me.

I enjoyed the trip very much. There was so much to see.

Zhang Jiazhen was born in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. He is{#blank#}1{#/blank#}international kung fu champion. He{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(win) the second place in a famous talent show-Brilliant Chinese in 2006. He is also a volunteer kung fu teacher in Tibet. Since 2012, he has taught kung fu to nearly 1,000 orphans(孤儿). They like kung fu and call{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(he)"Dad".

Zhang began to learn kung fu{#blank#}4{#/blank#}the age of 15. At that time, he only wanted to be{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(strong) than the other kids.{#blank#}6{#/blank#} after years of training, he became a kung fu star.

A public show in 2012 changed his life and also many children. One day, Zhang performed kung fu at a school in Beijing. After watching the show, some Tibetan orphans were very{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(excite). They wanted to learn kung fu very much.

From then on, Zhang taught these children kung fu. He also taught therm how {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(become) useful people. So the children called him not only "Mr. Zhang" but {#blank#}9{#/blank#}"Dad".

Now these children have grown up. Some of{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(they) are teaching kung fu together with Zhang. They will become "Dads"or "Moms" to even more children.

I once worked as a volunteer at a Children's Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (I) job was to help make the kids feel happy when they were in the hospital. Sounds interesting, right? {#blank#}2{#/blank#} some people can't understand why I did it.

 Let me show you. My first reason was to help create a better future for people. Look at the children in the hospital where I worked. They {#blank#}3{#/blank#}( feel) scared and lonely facing all the difficulties because their parents had other kids to care for. So, why not try {#blank#}4{#/blank#} ( help) as many people as possible?

Also, volunteering in Africa and helping people there let me see other {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (párt) of this planet. And volunteering at the hospital opened {#blank#}6{#/blank#} window for me to touch the unknown world. I met people from all over the world, each with their own ideas, experiences, and dreams. We got to share so much with each other {#blank#}7{#/blank#} ( happy).

I really felt close {#blank#}8{#/blank#} these people. We shared amazing memories and grew together. Now I {#blank#}9{#/blank#}( stay) in my country and working with the experiences and ideas. And together we can help {#blank#}10{#/blank#} ( many) people and create a better future for everyone!

He felt he was happy and lucky to see how wonderful China is through his own eyes.The trip was short, but he 10 a lot about this country.Now he decides to visit China again.
