An old woman went shopping last Tuesday. She came to a bank and saw a car near a door.  A man got out of it and went into the bank. She looked into the car. The keys were in the lock. The old woman took the keys and followed the man into the bank. The man took a gun out of his pocket and said to the clerk (办事员), “Give me all the money. "

      But the old woman didn't see this. She went to the man, put the keys in his hand and said, "Young man, you're foolish. Never leave your keys in your car.  Someone is going to steal it."

      The man looked at the old woman for a few seconds (秒). Then he looked at the clerk and then he took his keys, ran out of the bank, got into his car and drove away quickly without any money.

    Jenny is my good friend. She is eleven years old. She comes from America. Usually she goes to school on foot, because her home is near. Jenny's mother is a teacher. She goes to work by subway, because it's fast. What about her father? Her father is a doctor. He goes to work by car. On weekends, Jenny and I often go to the park. Sometimes we have a picnic. It is very funny.

    Hello, I am May. I am seven years old. I like to eat bananas and apples. This is my father. He is a policeman（警察）. He is very tall and cool. He has got a gun（枪）. My mother is very short and thin. She is a teacher. She has a small nose and a round face. She likes red. I love my father and mother and they love me, too.

Linda: Tomorrow will be International Children's Day. What are you going to do?

Tim: I'll watch a movie with my family. And we'll eat delicious food. What about you?

Linda: My parents will take me to the beach for a swim and a picnic.

Tim: That's great! What are you going to take for the picnic?

Linda: I will take some cakes. My mother will take some drinks. And my father will take some books. He likes reading.

    Jim likes sports, so he's tall and strong in his school. Now his father and mother work in London. He likes the game very much and plays it on Saturday and Sunday.

    His grandmother lives in a small village and one day she comes to see him. It's Saturday and she doesn't see the boy at home. So she goes to look for him in the school. She sees thirty boys are playing with only one ball. The old woman tells Jim to finish playing and go home with her.

    "But, Grandma, I..."

    "Don't play with them, my dear!" says the old woman. "I'm going to buy a ball for you!"

Jack: What can you do?

John: I can sing English songs. What about you?

Jack: I can do some kung fu.

John: What can your parents do?

Jack: My father can do some kung fu, too. My mother can sing and dance.
