Last weekend we had a birthday for our classmate Zhang Xiaohui. She is younger than me, but I am shorter than her. And she looks stronger. Of course she is heavier than me. We went to a shop to buy a present for Xiaohui. What did we buy? We bought a doll for her. Because she told me " I haven't got a lovely doll." When she got our present she looked excited. She was very happy. We went to the zoo. We saw elephants. We wanted to row a boat in Jingming park, but it was later, we had to went home. We had a good time on that day.

    Tom is a very old man. After dinner(晚餐) ,he likes walking in the street. And he goes to bed at seven o'clock.

    But tonight, a car stopped at his house. A policeman helps him get out. He tells Tom's wife," The old man couldn't find his way in the street. He asked me to take him home in my car. "

    After the policeman leaves (离开) there, his wife asks, "Tom, you go to that street every night. But tonight you can't find the way, what's the matter?"

    The old man smiles like a child and says, "I couldn't find my way? I didn't want to walk home. "

    Lucy and Lily are twins. They look the same. But they don't like the same things. Lucy likes drawing cartoons, but Lily likes reading books. Yesterday Lily went to the bookstore, and Lucy went to the supermarket. Their parents took a trip last month. They bought some gifts for their daughters(女JL). They are going to Beijing next holiday. They are very excited.

Martin: What do you want to be when you grow up, Jiamin?

Jiamin: I want to be a fireman (消防员). I think the fireman is cool.

Martin: And you, Lily?

Lily: I like children. I want to be a teacher. What about you, Martin?

Martin: My father is a police officer. He can stop bad people. So I want to be a police officer.

Jiamin: Police officers can help people. Your father is great, Martin.

Martin: Thanks. Look, Miss Wang is working hard. I think teachers are great, too.

    We are living a happy life. Our parents love us so much that we can have what we want. But some of our classmates do not take good care of these things. They throw away their pens and paper. Some of them even waste food. I think it is a bad habit. We should protect environment of the school and the city. We shouldn't step onto the grass, and we shouldn't pick the flowers. Try to go to school by bike or on foot. Don't use plastic bags. Every year we can plant many trees, the environment will be better and better.
