Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, is an American computer programmer. His net worth (资产净值) is about $71 billion, ranking him the fifth richest person in the world. On 1 December, 2015, he and his wife announced that they would give 99 per cent of their Facebook shares to the Chan Zuckerberg Fund. Since 2010, Time magazine has named Zuckerberg among the 100 wealthiest and most influential people in the world.

Born in 1984, he and his three sisters were brought up in a small village in New York. At high school, Zuckerberg was outstanding in class. He won prizes in science. He could also read and write French, Hebrew, Latin, and ancient Greek. Zuckerberg began using computers and writing software at middle school. His father taught him basic programming in 1990. He enjoyed developing computer programs, especially communication tools and games. During his high school years, he built a software program called ZuckNet that allowed all the computers between the house and his fathers dental office to communicate with each other. The following year, he built a music player called the Synapse Media Player. It used machine learning to learn the user's listening habit.

In 2004, Zuckerberg launched Facebook from Harvard. He left Harvard in his second year to complete his project—Facebook. Helped by his college roommates and fellow Harvard students, Facebook expanded rapidly, reaching one billion users by 2012.

In 2003, Zuckerberg met Priscilla Chan, at a party during his second year at Harvard. They have been dating since their Harvard days. In 2010, they got married and had their first baby, Maxima. The couple announced on their Chinese New Year video that their daughter's Chinese name is Chen Mingyu. On 18 March, 2016, while visiting Beijing, he posted on Facebook, "It's great to be back in Beijing! I kicked off (开始) my visit with a run through Tiananmen Square, past the Forbidden City and over to the Temple of Heaven."                                                                                            A Beautiful Moment

When I was in high school.I worked part-time helping Dad sell fruits and vegetables at a matket. One day,as I was preparing the fruits. A little boy came by with his mom and sister. He was  about eight years old,and the girl.five or six. They were looking the fruits in front of me. I heard the kids say to their mom(in French),"They're good!" I knew it was French. Because I can speak and understand it.

Then I noticed how mom was picking the fruits. At first I thought she was really looking at the fruits because she was facing them. But then I noticed how much she had to feel and smell each one as she picked them out. And often asked her son if it looked okay, but looked way above where his face was. Putting what I saw together,I was sure she was blind.

Both of the kids continued to help their mom pick out the fruits .The son made sure the fruits were not obviously bad, and the daughter handed them to her mom. The woman then felt each one and smiled, and the daughter would put them into their basket .The kids were smiling while helping their mom pick the fruits out.

Their smile and gentle manner moved me in a way that never happened before .It was so beautiful to see such young kids so willingly help. Most kids that age would be picking out candies or toys in a store for themselves, instead of helping their mom pick out fruits as the two kids did.

It was great to witness the moment, but not so great because I didn't tell the mom how beautiful her children were in their language .this is what I regret to this day.

It was midday when I got the call that my grandfather was not well and he was quickly getting worse. My family didn't know how long he would stay in the world. I knew I had to get to the hospital to tell him how much I loved him. As I drove to the hospital, I pictured him before I got to tell him how much he meant to me. Trying to fight back the tears, I wanted to stay calm when I saw him.

When I got to the hospital, I hurriedly looked for his hospital room. I found him in a semi-conscious state*. On my knees, I said softly, "Hello, Grandpa."

Still feeling shy, I decided not to leave his bedside without letting him know. When I asked about how he was, he told me, "I'll be fine, Henry." But we both knew that wasn't true. Then he asked me with a smile how I was doing.

Hearing what my grandpa said, I was much moved. I made the decision that I had to show my gratitude for him. As I found all the courage* I had, I hold his hand tightly. I cried out, "Grandpa, I just want to let you know how much I love you. I hope you already know that yet. I just want to make sure." By this time, the tears were rolling down my face. All those years of love that I had shut and not let him know became free.

Smiling, he said," I know. Thank you for telling me that." "All I have on this planet is my family and my love for them. If there is anything I could ask of you, I want you to be good to your family: your mother, your father, and your brother. That's all I want of you."

From then on, I began telling people how much I loved them, cared for them, and respected them. I got in touch with others to show my thanks. I went down into the city once a week and tried to help the homeless. I woke up every morning and listed everything I was thankful to in my life.
