Today I want to go shopping. I want to buy some gifts for my family. I want to buy some tea for my father. He likes to drink tea. I want to buy a dress for my mother. Because summer is coming. I want to buy some books for my brother. He likes to read books. And I want to buy some candy for my sister. She likes to eat candy.

    It is a fine Sunday. Mike and his mother are going to the West Lake with Bob and his parents. Bob and his parents come from England. They go to the West Lake by bus.

    Now they are on the dike (堤坝)of the lake. How beautiful! The water is gentle( 温柔的)and clean. The willows(柳树) on both sides are waving(挥手) to the visitors. They get on a boat and row to the middle of the lake. Sometimes the lake is as calm(平静的) as a mirror. Sometimes there is a little wind, and the boat is like a cradle (摇篮)in the water. There is a big fountain(喷泉) in the lake. It's really fantastic( 极好的).

    It's said that(据说) the West Lake is one of the fairylands(乐园)in the world. That's true. Mike and his friends want to visit it again.

    Last year, I went to the USA. It was great!

    I visited the Empire State Building(帝国大厦).

    It was the tallest building in the world from 1931 to late 1970.

    I saw the Statue of Liberty(自由女神像).

    I went inside the statue.

    I took a lot of pictures there.

    And I saw the White House.

    I bought some beautiful postcards.

    Then I went to the Wild Animal Park.

    I had dinner there. I was very happy!

    It was really a nice journey!

    She likes singing, dancing and swimming.

    Miss Lee is from America. She is only twenty -one. She is thin but pretty. She has curly brown long hair and wears glasses. She likes children and her teaching work. From Monday to Friday she stays at school and gives the children classes. She has much work to do, but she often plays games with her students after school. The children like her very much. On Sunday she drives her car to her father's house and stays with her father and mother. Sometimes she goes to see her friends on Sunday. She drives back to school on Monday morning. She likes singing, dancing and swimming. She's a nice teacher.
