         With the development of people's living condition, more and morepeople possess their own cars. Some of us think it is good to own a car. Forinstance, it's convenient, fast and comfortable means of transportation. Moreover, it shows that people are becoming richer and the country is much morestronger. It also made relative businesses and industries develop faster.

       However, others have different opinions, thinking that cars giveup waste gases and pollute the environment around. Too much cars will have somebad effects, such as more accidents and crowdedness. Besides, lack parking lotsis another big problem.

As far as I'm concerned, we ought to think careful before buyingcars. As if we have cars, we may use it less.

    It is good to see that today more people have realized the importance exercising and are playing sports regular. But the problem is that there are not enough sports facilities to meet the public growing demand. I love playing basketball and often play with my friends on weekends. Therefore, it is difficult to rent a basketball field and possible to find a free one. It seems that all courts in the city were always full. Weather permitted, we can play in outdoors. But on rainy days or in winter we have to turn to indoor courts. There are not much in my city, and the charge is high. The government should build more public sports facilities, so easier access will encourage more people participate in sports.

    I'm still a high school student, and on my way to begin my college days. Every day, devote to my study, I had learned much knowledge, which will definitely promise me a good performance in my college entrance exam. I hope that I can be admitting into my dream university, one with good equipment and learned professors, who can offer me guidance when I am in a trouble. Of course, there will be exams in college to check my study. I share the same idea with Mike that we should be active in college. I won't bury myself at books the whole day.     Two years ago, when I went to the kitchen for a cup of milk, a magazine lay open on the table drew my attention. An article about environmental protection written by an university professor was on this page. That was a popular magazine which was sold well at that time. From the article, I got plenty of informations. I learned about some problems the earth was faced with and got some suggestions on what they could do to save our planet in an effectively way. From then on, I had been applying myself to protect the environment. While the problem of pollution is universal and we are likely to run out some natural resources, it's time that everybody took action.
