    I can't swim so I have a strong fear of water. Look back at my childhood, I think that three reasons might explain fear. Firstly, I am not allowed to go near the water when I was a child, as my mother had an unreasonable fear of it. Therefore, I was taught to see to the water as something danger. Secondly, my eyes became bad when I was five. If I took off my glass in the water, I couldn't see something, and this increased my fear. What's worse, for a child I once saw a neighbor drowned. Since then I have been more frightening.

    Friendship is very importance. Everyone needs friendship. In all our lives we can't live without friendship just as we can't live without air and water. Friendship makes us getting on well with one another to go ahead under different kind of difficulties in the front of us. But real friendship is not easy to come by. True friendship must be sincerely and be based on understand each other but not on benefits of each other. A good friend can always be a good teacher to us. By his advices we are persuading to go the right way. Therefore more friends we have, the better we can improve ourselves.

    There are lots of experience in our life. The most unforgettable one for me is the speech competition holding last year. I'm interested in English. When my English teacher told me that I had chosen to take part in the speech competition, I devoted me to the preparation. I was determined to win the first prize. I was such nervous when I stood on the stage that I forgot everything. Not until I caught a sight of my teacher did I calm down. Finally, I do a good job. When I heard I got the first prize, my heart was filled in joy and tears rolled down. Through this speech competition, I understand that it is confidence which makes people succeeded.

    I used to delay things until deadlines, that caused me much trouble. Therefore, I thought of some ways to get rid the bad habit. First, I took a shower right after I got home from school. It refreshed me but made my thoughts more active. Furthermore, in order to avoid being continual disturbed by my cellphone, I left them with my parents. The final strategy I use was scheduling. I managed to planning my days ahead of time so that I could break up my tasks rather than having too many work to do on the last day. By using these simple technique, I've improved my efficiency and made a good use of my time.

    I love English so much. It is my favorite subject, because master a foreign language helps me to know more about the world. I always dreamed to travel around the world someday, so the first job is to learn English well. Since my teacher told me that there was an English corner in the square, I felt so exciting to go there. I found there was some foreigners and I felt nervous. At first, I just listened to them. Though I was eager to talk to them, but I was shy and afraid making stupid mistakes. One day, a foreigner talked to me, and she said she had seen me many times and led me to talk to her. Her heart was beating fast, but I started to say out some English word. After a while, we talked natural. I made big progress and felt proud with myself.
