    Imagine a road crossing without the three-day traffic signal, cars, trucks, school buses, bicyclists and students walking to school would try to rush through the crossing{#blank#}1{#/blank#} the same time. Their safety would be in danger.

One day he felt very sad when he saw a traffic accident. To help reduce traffic accidents and save people's lives, he {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (immediate) began to work on the invention. Finally, it was {#blank#}9{#/blank#} great success which saved lives then, and {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (be) still saving lives today.

    Since the beginning of the 21^st century, artificial intelligence (AI) {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (find) its way in different areas in the entertainment industry. Disney, which is one of the world's leading entertainment {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (company), has decided to make use {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the technology in its theme parks, where robot cartoon characters will soon walk among guests. Disney has also its robot Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck to communicate with tourists.

    “I think AI is going to be {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (great) important for what we do," said Jon Snoddy, an official of the entertainment company. "Robot characters that can move around among our guests need to understand where they're going and know {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to behave in a world with humans.”

The most important export products are machinery and electric equipment,{#blank#}8{#/blank#} the most important import products are raw materials. In recent years, China's industry{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(compete) internationally, and as a result, the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(develop)of the country's industry is increasingly influenced by international economic environments.

    Across the world people prepare and drink tea in many {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(difference) ways. The handmade purple clay teapot (紫砂壶) is one of the most popular{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(item)among tea lovers in Asia. But the skill of making that particular teapot faces a lot of challenges in modern times.

    Chinese people {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(drink)tea for thousands of years. And {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(recent), these handmade teapots have become popular. As an old saying goes, "A thing is valued if it is rare."

    Tea sets (茶具) have been a key part of Chinese culture. Gao Dezhi, 99, has been making purple clay teapots since he was 13 years old. Usually, this kind of skill {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(pass) down from generation to generation or taught to those {#blank#}6{#/blank#} are crazy about the craft. Gao says that his son and daughter are not {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(interest) in learning such skills. They already earn a lot of money by {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (work) in other jobs. People cannot make such things {#blank#}9{#/blank#} they have no interest in learning the skill, he says.

    In order to protect skills {#blank#}10{#/blank#} disappearing, local people have built a special museum where masters can show their craft.
