Do you know what people eat every day in America? In America，on school and working days，people often {#blank#}1{#/blank#}bread，milk or coffee for breakfast. Some people even go to work or school without breakfast because they don't want {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（be） late. But {#blank#}3{#/blank#}weekends，things are different. People have much free（空闲的） time， {#blank#}4{#/blank#}they can have a big breakfast.

For many tests and exams， you are tested on your abilities to communicate successfully. In order to speak English fluently， you need to think in English. If you don't， your speech will be slow and it won't sound natural. Here are three pieces of advice for you to practice thinking in English. 

★Look at objects around your home and school， and think of what they are called 
in English. Try to make a direct connection between the object and the English word. 

★When you are out in a public place， practice describing the things and people you see in your mind. For example， think "There is a man walking down the street. He's wearing a suit. I think he is going to work. " Try to think in English first， not in your first language. 

★When you have to say something in English， think first and ask yourself， 
"What words and phrases do I know in English that I can use in this situation? " Try not to think in your first language and translate your ideas into English. If you do， you will get frustrated very quickly. 

Try these tips and you'll soon find that you are thinking in English. 

China's TV show To the Wonder has made Altay in Xinjiang very popular for the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} （民众）. They like the beautiful views and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} （风俗） of the people there.

The TV show tells the story of Li Wenxiu, a young woman who returns to her hometown, Altay for the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（第二） time. Then she stayed living with her mother after{#blank#}4{#/blank#} （失败） to become a writer and facing many difficulties at work.

{#blank#}5{#/blank#}（它） beautiful lakes, and free lifestyle in the TV show quickly made Altay one of many young people's dream places. Flight bookings have {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（增加） by 20% and hotel bookings have doubled.

Wei Changren, the founder of a website about travel, said that it would take a long time to get to Altay and the hotels {#blank#}7{#/blank#} （在······旁边） that place were expensive. "Many big cities don' t have {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（直接的） flights to Altay." he said. "However, visitors can enjoy Altay' s views in summer and winter {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（不同）. I think the government in Altay can take the show as a chance to make it more famous. They can also do something to speak {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（大声） for visitors to enjoy their time there."

A marathon is a long running race of 42.195kilometres. The first Olympic Marathon was held     in Athens. Now, many cities host their own marathons every year. Some of the well-known marathons around the world are the New York City Marathon, the Boston Marathon and the Tokyo Marathon. Among them. the Boston Marathon is the oldest yearly Marathon in the world. As time goes by, the sport has become more than just a race.

 Themes(主 题 ) make marathons fun and meaning. Runners run for helping sick kids, memorizing important events, or just enjoying nature. A famous marathon in Gisborne, New Zealand, is known for being the first city in the world to welcome the sunlight every day. Runners can greet the sunrise as they run along the golden sandy beaches.

 Marathon routes(线路) let people know more about this old sport. Some routes are very challenging for runners. Runners of all skill levels can sweat(流汗) freely and push their limits(极限). Some routes are well planned for runners to explore the many sides of a city. For example, the route of the Great Wall Marathon takes the runners along the great wonder of the world. In fact, it's also a chance to get to know Beijing, its people and local culture.

A marathon is quite a journey for runners to enjoy the run, challenge themselves and experience     the culture. There is so much more behind the race for us to explore.
