Write down the goals and think about them carefully. Are they realistic? When will you be able to achieve them?
   To help make the process (过程) more manageable, divide your goals into smaller tasks. For example, if you want to reach a main goal in five years, set a three-year goal, a one-year goal, a three-month goal and a one-month goal. Then create a daily To-Do List of things that you should do today. When a goal is achieved, take the time to enjoy your success. This helps you build the self-confidence.
   Remember, your goals can change as time goes on. But be sure your goals are things you hope to achieve, not what your parents, family or teachers want.

    This is Jill. She is twelve years old. She has two new friends. They are Sami and Pat. Sami is a girl. She's twelve. She is short and slim. She's from England. She's English. Pat is a boy. He is twelve too. He's tall and strong. He's from America. He's American.

    I have a lovely dog named Bobby. He looks pretty with short legs, big ears and short tail. He is my good friend and he is also easy to take care of. I walk him at least twice a day, feed him and spend time with him. He also gives his love to me in return.

    He is always there to lick me and lie on me. I like playing with him. I think he can tell when I am happy, sad, angry or troubled. Sometimes he can be noisy and run around the room. In a word, he is not only my dog, but also my friend.

    I love him. He can roll on the floor. He can play balls with me. He can look after my house when I am out. Bobby is very clever. But sometimes he isn't.

    One day Bobby runs away. He is out for three days. After he comes back, I tie him to a tree and give him some food. Bobby begins to eat. But then he stops. He sees a fox. The fox is looking at his food. Bobby barks and barks. He wants to catch the fox. But he can't. The fox runs round the tree. Bobby runs after the fox. So the rope goes ground the tree. Of course Bobby can't run. Quickly he eats up the food and runs away.

    I'm glad to know you are coming to my house next Sunday. But it is a little difficult to find my house. Go out of the train station, and go down West Street to the north. Don't turn left at the crossing, and just walk straight on. You can see a bus stop near a movie theatre on your left. Take the No. 2 bus there and get off at the fifth stop. Then you are on Garden Street. Go down the street and walk until you see a park. Walk across the park and you can find a bank on your right. My house is opposite the bank. I will meet you at the gate of my house. See you then.

    Febri's is a very friendly place. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} We did not see one unhappy staff member (工作人员) — all have smiles on their faces. It is very clean and it has good service.

    The pool is wonderful and deep and there is a baby area in it. My kids loved the elephants around the pool spraying water. We often bad lunch by the pool. You only just push the bell and the staff will bring you a menu. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} It serves the usual food with little change each day.

    Lots of visitors stay here because it's a very good family hotel. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} If you have young kids, I advise you to ask a ground floor rooms, because stairs are too hard for young kids. These rooms are at the back of the hotel, so there is no street noise. It's very quiet. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} I slept with 3 pillows (枕头) under me. The spa is quite relaxing! The location is good. Everything is close by, and the street is not one way here. Next to the hotel door there is a good DVD shop, and you can rent DVD at a good price from it. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} It's a $1 taxi ride to Kuta Market. If you want to go to the beach, you can walk through the hotel opposite to Febri's to get to Tuban Beach.

    I finished my cooking course(课程) at the age of 21. I thought I was going to become a world-famous cook. I hoped people would travel from all over the world just to get a taste of my food. But three months later, I knew I was wrong. Since(既然) nobody was travelling to taste my food, I decided I should travel to taste theirs.

    During my travel, I visited many different countries, such as Japan and France, where different kinds of food opened my eyes. I liked the travelling in Italy and China most.

    When in Italy, I learned how to make pizza and salads. We had long lazy lunches in the sun and evening meals where the conversations went on long into the night.

    In China, I loved the hot Sichuan food and enjoyed the delicious Beijing snacks. I also found the joy of making dumplings with good friends.

    My year of travel came to an end too quickly, but I had decided what I should do for the rest(剩余的) of my life. I want to bring the wonderful food of the world into my kitchen in New York.
