Fiona Famous was a very  1  girl at school. She was such a busy girl, with  2  friends, that she  3 had a chance to  4  time with individual(单独的) friends.

    But everything changed  5  National Friendship Day. That day in class, everyone  6  make three presents to give to their three best friends.

    Mr. White wanted to spend a day at the beach. He 1 his daughter Nancy and her two friends, Helen and Karina. They all went to Ocean Beach in New Zealand.

    The dolphins stayed close to the group until the shark 10. When Mr. White and the kids were safe, the dolphins swam away. "You want to say thank you and shake their flippers." Mr. White said. "These dolphins are heroes."

    Christmas was coming and ten-year-old Tracy told her father and me that she wanted a new bike. Her bike was too 1, and it needed repairing as well. As Christmas 2,  her dream for a bike seemed to disappear(消失), we thought, for she didn't say it again. We were busy3 some beautiful story books, a doll house, a holiday dress and toys. Then to our surprise, on December 24, she said she really wanted a bike more than 4.

    Now we didn't know 5 to do. It was just too late. We were busy with Christmas dinner and packing 6 presents, parents'presents, a brother's present and friends' presents till midnight. So there was 7 time to take to buy the "right bike" for our little girl. Thinking we were parents who would make their child unhappy, we felt sorry and 8 .

    Suddenly my husband had an idea. "What about making a little bike with clay (黏土) and writing a note that she could trade in (交换) the model bike for a real one?" So he spent the next five hours carefully 9 with clay to make a small bike.

10 Christmas morning, we were so excited for Tracy to open the little box with the beautiful red and white clay bike and the note. She opened and read the 11 loudly. She looked at me and said, "So, does this mean I can trade in this bike for a real 12?" Smiling, I said, "Yes!" Tracy had tears in her e yes when she replied, ‘I would 13 trade in this beautiful bike Daddy made me. I 14 keep it than get a real bike. This is the best Christmas present 15 I have ever got in my life!"

    Ever since I was a child, my mouth has caused me trouble. I'm not a bad person, but I have a hard time learning when to stop saying things to others.

    My mum has told 1 again and again, "Robert, you bad words are hurting me. 2 you continue to be this rude, you will get into big trouble."

    It has been a problem at school several times too. One day, in English class, I was working on my homework when I heard a classmate 3behind me. It was Nathaniel, who liked doing that as usual.

    Surprised at his reaction, I sat back in my seat. I had9seen Nathaniel act like this before. Later on, we were taken to the teachers' office. There, Mr. Black. Our English teacher, told us to 10the problem between us. Only then I finally found that 11I hurt someone physically(身上), he can finally get healthy again. But when I hurt someone with my 12, sometimes the pain never goes away.

    Kierman was born in Sydney, Australia, and grew up near the sea. For more than 40 years, he raced in international sailing competitions.

    In 1987, Kierman was competing in an around-the world race when he began to 1 the huge amount of rubbish in the world's oceans.  When he returned to Australia, he 2 to do something about it.

    He organized a community 3 called "Clean Up Sydney Harbour". On Sunday, January 8, 1989, more than 40,000 volunteers came out to 4away rubbish.     Since then, "Clean Up Australia" has got 7every year. In 2002, for example, 800,000 people cleaned up almost 15,000 tons of rubbish from Australia's beaches, parks and streets.

    Kierman was 8 with the success of his project. In 2003, he started an even bigger program. With the9 of the United Nations Environment Program, he introduced "Clean Up the World", an international program that supports communities around the world in cleaning up and protecting the environment. "Clean Up the World" has grown 10 and his wonderful idea has now spread from one city to the whole world.
