    I am very exciting to receive an e-mail from you and I am glad to know  you have a wonderful time during the past summer holiday.     One day, I was doing my homework in the bedroom. All of sudden, the light went out, leaving me in totally darkness. My mother came in with a candle. When I light the candle, the bedroom was brightened at once. I looked at the candle and was lost in thoughts. It is very small, and it isn't worth many. But what it gives us are great. It brightens the way of many scientist; it brightens the desks of my teachers; it also brightens my mind. I think I should learn with the candle. Small as it is, but it tries its best to giving us light and heat.

    Today, when I walked to home after school, I found the sunset was very beautifully. I stopped at the park and sit on a bench to appreciate the scenery. There was so many people at the park, most of whom were old couples, but they went for a walk. There was a special couple walk hand in hand, which caught my attention. The old woman couldn't walk well because there was something wrong with her right legs. The old man took care of them carefully. They set good example to the young couples, showing that true love is. Against the sunset, they made up a beautiful scene.

    Every year, my parents and I pay visit to my grandparents in my hometown.

    To be honestly, I didn't want to go this year. You know, my hometown in their memory was so dirty. Rubbish could be seen everywhere, that annoyed me a lot. After thinking for some moment, I asked my parents that whether we could let my grandparents come and stay with us. Heard this, they just smiled.
