It was cloudy day with little rain in the air. I stood at the roadside waiting for a taxi while suddenly I felt a voice beside me. It was a boy who was wearing poor cloth. I felt very disgusted that I tried to pull myself away. The boy kept follow me shouting out "Big brother! Big brother!" and I didn't answer him at all. I heard him call out again, which makes me angry. So I shouted at him that we had no money to spare. However, the boy said to me, " Brother, will you please to help me cross the road?" I held the boy's hand firm and helped him cross the road.

    Last week our class voted on how to do for you class outing: visit the Singapore Zoo and go to the Night Safari(夜间动物园). We girls wanted to go to the zoo, but since we are in minority, we lost to the boys, that all wanted the safari. We got the admission rate for the students, which was great since I still had not enough money to buy a brochure about the park as well as something at the souvenir shops. The safari was scary(吓人的)but real fun. As we took the ride across the park's dark jungle, we could see the eyes of many creatures look at us. Most of the animal there sleep when there sunlight and wake up at night.

    Recently I have read a article written by Susan Beacham. She thinks if or not a gift is suitable lies not in its value and in the giver's heart. And she also thinks the giver should devote time and energy to the gift. I agree with him, whose article reminds me my best gift. It is a pen given by my devoting father. He doesn't earn many money. When I was in junior middle school, my father had bought me the nice pen. He wished me to study hardly. Since then, the pen has become my best friend, encouraging me to make great progresses.

Dear Mr. Li,

    Long time no see! I'm glad to tell you that I have made a great progress in my English study since I become a senior high school student. When I started senior English in the beginning, I found much more difficult than that we learned in junior school and I almost lost heart. Later, I realized the importance of English, so I got up early every morning, kept recited English words, listened to English tapes and did a lot of exercises. Besides, I also asked my teachers and classmates of better ways of learning English. Now, I'm improving my English a lot. And I'm getting more and more interest in learning it.     We are required to collect our smart phones and keep it in the teachers during the weekdays. In fact the most of us obey this regulation, but some still play various trick against it. I'm among those. Once, I hand in a waste phone. Mr. Li, our head teacher, seemed ignore all that. So I felt very luckily to have an extra phone with me. And good times don't last long. "Can I use your phone as a while? I forgot to take mine by chance". Li said, pick out my waste phone and dialing. You can see how embarrassing I was at the scene!
