    In August 1996, Peter Hessler, an American teacher of English, arrive in the town of Fulig on the Yangtze River. I bought my mother large and beautiful birthday cake. When my mother got home, she was greatly surprised by what that she saw. All that we had done made her very happily. After supper, I asked my mother to sit down and watched TV. My father began to clean the floor and I set out to doing the washing-up.

    When I was little, Friday's night was our family game night. After supper, we would play card games of all sort in the sitting room. As the kid, I loved to watch cartoons, but no matter how many times I asked to watching them, my parents would not to let me. They would say to us that playing card games would help my brain. Still I unwilling to play the games for them sometimes. I didn't realize how right my parents are until I entered high school. The games my parents taught me where I was a child turned out to be very useful later in my life.

    When I started the 4th grade, there were a program in my school where students could learn instruments but play in the band. I really wanted play the guitar so I signed up as soon as possible. After the week，a piece of paper was send to my mail box saying I had been admitted. I was extreme happy! I rented my first guitar, which I practiced it for a few hours a day. As time went on, I started to become well known as my music. Therefore, if you had a hobby you like, turn that hobbies into a gift, and show the world what you do!

    I've just returned back from my spring break after visit my brother America. His school had just finished their break, so I get a chance to pay a visit to it. At the front door which there was a special machine, he had to call a security guard to take me to the main office to get a special pass. Then, dog smelt me by its nose. There were cameras anywhere, except in the bathrooms. I felt like I was a thief. Personally, I don't think a school need to be like a prison. It should be a comfortable place for student to study in happy.
