    Good morning．This is the weather report．It's snowy and cold in Harbin．It's windy and cool in Taiyuan．It's cloudy in Nanjing．It's rainy in Suzhou．It's sunny and hot in Haikou．

    Sally and Kitty are good friends. They study in the same school but different classes. After school they often go home together. They like swimming and going fishing. On Sundays they often go to the park and fly kites. They run with the kites near the river. When they see their kites high up in the sky, they are happy. But their favorite sports are different. Sally likes playing volleyball and Kitty likes playing basketball.

    There are four people in my family . They are my father , my mother , my sister and I . My father is a driver . My mother is a teacher . My sister is three years old . I'm ten years old . And I'm a pupil . I love my family . We are a happy family .

    The Smart family are looking at a map of China. They want to visit many famous places in China. Sam wants to go to Xi'an and see the Terracotta Warriors(兵马俑). Amy wants to visit Hangzhou. She wants to see the West Lake. She knows the West Lake is very beautiful. Sam and Amy's mother wants to visit Guangzhou and Hong Kong She wants to do some shopping there. Mr. Smart wants to visit the Three Gorges Dam (三峡大坝). It is a very big dam and it's very interesting. Sam and Amy want to visit the dam, too. Tom wants to stay at home.

Mr. White and Mrs. White are teachers. They have a son and a daughter, Tim and Mary. Tim is seven years old and Mary is fifteen years old. The Whites visited their relatives from 8 a. m. to 7 p. m. yesterday. Later they saw a film together and then went home at half past nine.
