Dear Mum and Dad

    We're having a wonderful time in Australia. There is so much to see that it is impossible for me to tell you everything. During past three days, we've travelled a lot around Sydney. We went to the zoo, on where we saw many animals that can only be found in Australia. We spent some time relaxing in the sunshine at the beach, but we went to Pitt Street and wander around for a bit while we did some shopping. Though I would like to spend more time here, the locally guide told us that we will fly to Cairns tomorrow. It's said that word cannot describe the beauty of the ocean near Cairns. Now everybody is busy packed so that we will not lose time when we set off. This time tomorrow we will be enjoying the ocean near Cairns. I can't wait!

    Because I have much more to tell you, I must go to bed now so that I can get up early and get to the airport on time. Please send my best wishes to Granny and tell she that I am coming back soon.

    On a sunny day last month, I was visiting Summer Palace when I came across a little girl standing alone with tear streaming down her face. I walked up to her and offered to help. Thankful, she calmed down and told me what had been happened. She came here to do some sightseeing with her parents and they got separated. Immediately I take her to the broadcasting station. Before hearing the news, her parents rushed here. The girl couldn't wait to run towards him. The couple thanked me warmly, expressing their thanks for my kind help. Seen the family disappear into the distant, I felt very happy.

    When I was at secondary school，I often played the football with my friends on the playground. We used to taking these games very serious，because we didn't know whether the sports teacher was watching. Maybe one of us would get pick for the school team! Then one day it happens. After a sports lesson the teacher asked me I wanted to play for the team the following Saturdays. He wasn't promising that I would play and he said I would certainly be a substitute. He felt so proud and exciting. I actually played that Saturday and soon got a regular place in the team.

    I can still remember clearly the day after I had my first exam in Senior High. I didn't pass them. I was so scared that I even don't want to go to school any more. My parents looked my test paper calmly but said, “My child, we're very glad you has finished half of it and you can do better next time. We never expect you to do the best at a very beginning. We strong believe you can make progress gradually.” What they said made me to feel I could do things well. From then on, I have concentrated much on my studies. Now I'm always filling with confidence in my studies because I know my parents are always behind me.

    On May Day, some students from class Three. Grade One, went to a nursing home but did some meaningful work.
