It's two o'clock(点钟)in the afternoon. The sun is shinning (照耀) and it's very hot. Nancy goes to the train station(火车站)to meet her mother. Now she's walking(走) in the street. There aren't any trees and she's fat. So(因此) she feels very hot. But she doesn't find(发现) a boy walking behind her. She meets a friend and says "hello" to him. "Who's the boy behind you?" Asks(问) her friend. Now she sees the boy. She is angry(生气的) and asks, "Why(为什么) are you walking behind me, boy?". "There isn't any shade (阴凉处) in the street. " Says the boy. "It's cool behind you，I think(认为). "

     Dabing and Xiaowei usually go to school by car. They drive past a cinema, a supermarket and a toy shop. The toy shop is next to the supermarket. Yaya and Xiaoli usually go to school by bus. They go past a bank and a post office. The bank is next to the post office. Longlong usually goes to school by bike. He passes by a police station, a library and a swimming pool（游泳池）.

    Look at my new bag! I have three white erasers, sixteen blue rulers and twenty green pencils. My bag is big!

    Last summer I went to Qingdao with my parents.Qingdao is in the east of China.The weather was warm there. I swam in the sea every day.We ate lots of fish.I bought many presents for my friends too.We had a lovely time there.

    Water is very important for living things. Without water, there can be no life on Earth. All the animals and plants need water. Man also needs water. Water is found almost everywhere. Even in the driest part of the world there is some water in the air. As we all have found out, water may be solid, liquid or gas. When it is solid, it may be as hard as brick. When it is liquid, you can pour it out of a container. When it is gas, you cannot see or feel it. Although about 70 percent of the Earth's surface is covered with water, there are many places in the world still running out of water. So we should make good use of water on Earth.

    I'm Chen Jie. I am from China. My birthday is July 20^th. I usually get up early on my birthday. My parents and friends give me many presents. I don't go to school on my birthday, because I am on summer vacation. Usually I have a birthday party. We have a big dinner and eat a birthday cake and ice cream. We sing, dance, watch TV and play computer games at the party. In the evening, my family goes to the beach. Because it's usually very hot. I have a good time on my birthday.
