My cousin and I have very different living habits. I think I have a good habit. I take an active part in sports. After school, I often play ball games with my classmates. I don't like indoor activities. I'm hardly ill, and I haven't caught colds for years. I get up at the same time every morning and go to bed at the same time every night. I always sleep for nine hours each night, and I always feel refreshed (精力充沛的) in the morning.

    My cousin, however, has a very bad living habit. She never does exercise. She even hates walking to the bus stop from her home. She prefers indoor activities. She likes to play computer games and watch TV. She is overweight and often falls ill. She always goes to bed late and gets up at the last minute. She often feels tired in the morning.

    My grandfather Jack is 96 years old，and he has had an interesting life. He has travelled a lot in his life in the Far East. He visited the Taj Mahal in India and the Pyramids in Egypt. He hunted（狩猎） lions in Africa, and rode a camel in the Sahara Desert. He says the most beautiful place he has travelled to is Kathmandu in Nepal.

    Jack has married twice. His first wife died when she was 32. He met his second wife Maria while he was cycling round France. They have been married for 50 years, and they have lived happily in a small village since they got married.

    Jack says that he has never been ill in his life. The secret of good health, according to my grandfather, is exercise. He goes swimming every morning. He has done this since he was a boy. He also has a glass of wine every night！Perhaps that is his secret！

    Bill and his friends go hiking(徒步旅行)on Sunday. He is afraid(担心的)he will be hungry, so he buys a lot of food and his bag is heavy. They start at nine in the morning and they get to a city five hours later. When they arrive in the city, they're all tired. And then they go to a park. His friends get on a bus, but Bill can't. His bag sticks(卡住)in the door and he has to get off. The bus leaves and he doesn't know where he will meet them. He walks in the street and goes into a restaurant. He asks for a drink. He is so tired that he goes to sleep soon. When he wakes up in the midnight, he can't find any people in the restaurant. The door is closed and he can't go out. He finds a cell phone number and a name on a piece of paper, so he calls Mr Jackson, the owner of the restaurant.

    "Hello," says Bill. "When do you open your restaurant, Mr Jackson?”

    The telephone wakes the man up and he isn't happy. So he says, "Don't ask me about that. I won't let you in.”

    "Oh, no! I want to go out!" Bill says.

    The children were having their class. Miss Wang was telling them what water was like. After that she asked her students, "What is water?" No one answered. Miss Wang asked them again, "Why don't you answer my question?" "Didn't I tell you what water was like?"

    Just then a boy put up his hand and said, "Miss Wang, you told us that water has no color and no smell. But where shall we find this kind of water? The water in the river behind my house is always black. And it has a terrible smell." Most of the students agreed with him.

    "I'm sorry, children," Miss Wang said. "Our water is becoming dirtier and dirtier. That is quite an important problem for us to solve."
