If you want to do a school project on children's rights(权利), you can look on the Internet for some information. A United Nations website can show you plenty of useful information for the project.
The United Nations lists the rights of children. Most countries agree all of them, but some countries do not. The following are some of the most important rights of children:
Children have the right to be properly fed, clothed and sheltered (庇护) by their family. If their family can't do so, the government should take responsibility.
Children have the right to an education and medical care, which should be provided by the government.
Children must not be cruelly punished (惩罚)by their parents or any others.
Children have the right to expect the government to protect them from all kinds of abuse (虐待) and neglect(忽略).
No child under fifteen should be made to fight in an army.
Children have the right to be protected from being made to work too hard to make money for other people.
In some countries children do not have these rights. Many young children are made to work long hours in factories and on farms. In some countries there are so few schools that only rich children get an education. There are not enough doctors or nurses to help many children when they are sick.
The rights of children are, therefore, the rights people think children should have. They are not always the rights children really have.
I take time management very seriously. I read on the subject and take online courses to master the latest methods. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} When all my tasks are complete, I feel like a champion.
This year, there are more things to do. So I went in search of something newer, better. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Timeboxing is regraded as the most useful skill. It helps you translate a to-do list into certain time on your calendar. In short, it gives you a plan for what to do and when.
Why organizing time in this way can help me improve our performance? Here are the reasons.
{#blank#}3{#/blank#} We all have to choose every day. With a timeboxed calendar, you don't need to make choices between tasks. This way, it creates more brain space for important work.
It enables us to wisely prioritize(优先处理). {#blank#}4{#/blank#} It is natural to pick tasks which need to be dealt with as soon as possible. A timeboxed calendar can help you decide those tasks wisely.
It avoids the "planning fallacy(谬误)." We may not realize how long the tasks will actually take and think we can get things done quickly. In fact, it usually takes three times longer to finish a task than we think it will. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}
Using a timeboxed calendar is a game changer for me. You can also turn your to-do tasks into achievements with it.
A. Finally, I found timeboxing. B. It saves the time and energy for choice. C. Then we can save lots of time to do other things. D. On a long to-do list, which task should we do first? E. Good time management gives me a sense of real satisfaction. F. Timeboxing helps you get better at predicting how long a task will take. |
