    I am very exciting to learn that you're coming to Beijing for the Olympics. Both my parent miss you a lot. So do our friend, Cathy.     Last week, my friends and me went to watch Jay Chou's performance in Guangzhou. There are crowds of cheerful fans there, many of who came from other cities. Jay began his performance with one of his most famous song. We all cheered and shouted out his name, but some even cried with joy. When Jay began to sing the seventh song it called Sunny Day, it started to rain. Therefore, the concert was not interrupted and we got even more exciting in the rain. At last, Jay finished the concert with a speech, thank his fans for always supporting him. What memorable experience!

    Today, millions of people want to learn or improve their English. Which is good, to study in Britain or in your own country?

    The benefits of going to Britain seems obvious. You will listen to the language all the time, surround completely by the language wherever you would go and have to speak English if you are with the local people. In China, there is always possible to speak Chinese in class and the learning is slower. Besides, there are also advantage of studying at home. You don't have make big changes to your life. And of course, it's much cheaper than going to Britain.

    In my view, for most people without enough money, being at home is their only choice. A most important thing to do in this situation is make good use of your opportunities—speaking only English in class and using English whenever possibly outside the class.

    Every high school student want to get into famous universities and they spend most of their time review lessons. Nowadays, many graduates find it hard to be admitted to famous universities. To be honest, only the small number of students can get such golden chances. I have a strong desire to enter for Beijing University to study. To make your dream come true, I have to know my advantage and disadvantages. However, I must work hard or put all my time and energy into study. Most important, I must arrange my time properly. I was approaching my dream university with every effort.

    The writing class had just began. Everyone was silent, wait to see who would be announce to read his or her paragraphs aloud. Some of us are confident to take part this class activity, while others were nervous. Though I had done my homework well, but I was afraid to speak before a large group of people.     Our English teacher is a middle-aged woman. She has taught our English for two years. She works very hard and has been the model teacher for many years.

    She is kind but she is rather strict in us. She always encourages us speak and read more English. She often tells us that "practice makes perfectly." She is very good at teaching and trying hard to make every lesson lively and interesting. She often presents new language items with slide shows, teach us English songs and helps us to put on short English plays. Her lessons are so very interesting that all the students are keen to have English classes.

    She loves us and is always ready to help us. In fact, she is not only our good teacher but also our good friends. We both respect, admire and love her.
