A rich man and a poor tailor(裁缝) lived in the same house. The rich man lived upstairs and the tailor lived downstairs. The tailor liked to sing when he made clothes. He sang one song after another. But the rich man liked to sleep a lot, and the singing disturbed him. 

One day, the rich man said, "Tailor, I'll42give you a bag full of money every day if you stop singing. "

"Fine, " said the tailor. So the tailor stopped singing and became richer and richer.

But after some time, the tailor found he was not happy because he wanted very much to sing again. Then he gave all the money back to the rich man. 

"Here, " he said, "take your money back. I won't be happy if I can't sing. " He put the money on the table and went away and sang. He sang and sang. And he was happy again just like before.

Tom，Dick and Sam are all middle school students in New York.This summer holiday，they went to visit their uncle in London by air.Their uncle and aunt were very glad to see them.

On the first day，Tom said to his uncle， "Uncle John，my boys.Let me give you some advice.I have a farm.I farm.I will take you there to have a look.After that，I think you will have an idea."

After they got home，they opened the boxes.There were some nice vegetables in two boxes and in the third one，there were four big fat ducks.

Sitting in a classroom for eight hours a day can be tiring.  How about joining an outdoor club? Activities like skiing and picnicking are possible choices.  You can take part in some of them to enjoy the adventures (冒险).

Want to write short stories and be the next J.  K.  Rowling? A writing club is a good choice for you.  Your writing skills will really improve because you can get helpful advice from other club members. 

Robotics Club

Machine learning and AI are hot topics today.  Do you want to know more about them? Join the club and our leader Mr.  Lu will help you find your talent (天赋) in this field.  It might even help you get a good job. 

Soup Kitchen Club

In this club, our leader Mr.  Zhang will show you how to cook delicious soup.  You can work at a food bank or a soup kitchen.  You will spend a few hours at a time giving food to people who really need it.  It's very helpful. 

The19-year-oldgirl Peng Xiyue, like most girls of her age, enjoys sports like running and swimming. No one knows she has intellectual disability(智力残疾) if people just meet her for the first time.

 Peng was shy and easy to get angry before. She has changed a lot after going to a special education school. She has got training(训练) in the school for 6 years and won first place at the Special Olympic Games(特殊奥林匹克运动会) many times. She also learns about Chinese tea culture(文化) and other helpful skills there. She tells her father that she wants to work as a waitress in a restaurant to make a living(谋生) by herself after she finishes her studies in

2024. Her father is glad to hear that. He believes Peng will have no problem living a good life in the future.

 There are many children like Peng in the school. The school gives them training to help them keep healthy and get some important social skills for their future. Every weekend, volunteers go to the school to help the children exercise. Dong Ruixue, one of the volunteers, thinks people with disabilities are just a little different from others. "They need to beloved, "Dong says. And some college students choose to return to the school to work as teachers when they finish their studies. Wang Furong is one of them. She says working there is different from volunteer work(志愿活动) and she needs to have more skills.

 Now China has more than 85million people with disabilities. "We give different kinds of lessons to help them get jobs in the future. And I'm glad that some companies are willing to offer jobs to them,"says Bian Rong; the school's headteacher.
