In UK, everyone knows James Oliver. He has his special TV show. In the show, he tells people how to make nice food {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(different). 

James wants people to eat healthy food. In some schools, the food at lunch time isn't healthy. One day, James went to a school to make a TV show {#blank#}2{#/blank#}   healthy eating habits. He cooked the food with lots of fruit {#blank#}3{#/blank#}vegetables. At first, students didn't want to eat them  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}they don't like fruit or vegetables. But after they tasted the food, they {#blank#}5{#/blank#}    (love) it. After that, food in the school was healthy.

James says that many people don't think they need to love their bodies when they're young. 

He doesn't think it is right to do that. He {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(ask) us to follow these suggestions(建议).

Plastic pollution is one of the most serious environmental problems all over the world. Many countries are looking for ways to solve the problem. On November 7，2022，China started a"Bamboo instead of Plastic" project with the International Bamboo Organization. It will hopefully reduce plastic pollution. 

Bamboo is a plant of great value，such as cleaning air and preventing soil going away. Unlike trees which usually need a long time to fully grow，bamboo can be put into use in 3 to 5 years. As long as it is protected well

China is one of the countries with plenty of bamboo in the world. The Chinese are a pioneer in the use of bamboo. Zhejiang Province has set up companies to produce and develop bamboo products. Many of them have been sold to over 100 countries. China is also sharing its technology to help India and Japan，the countries which are rich in bamboo. It is hoped that countries around the world will work together for global green development. 

The top﹣selling album（唱片），Songs of the Humpback Whale，was made public in 1970. This collection of nature recordings changed the way many people thought about whales，and it helped save thousands of wha les. 

The album might never have been made without a sound engineer named Frank Watlington. In the 1960s，Watlington was making underwater recordings when he noticed some strange，deep sounds. He realized they were coming from whales. Watlington played the recordings for a pair of scientists named Roger Payne and Katy Payne. When they listened，they fell in love with these beautiful voices at once. 

Katy Payne studied music as well as animals，and she was greatly surprised by how the whales communicated using sounds like an opera singer. She also noticed another interesting fact：the sounds had clear patterns. According to scientists，an animal sound with a repeating pattern is called a song. Some scientists even compared these singing animals to musicians. 

The Paynes thought that other people should also hear the beauty of the whales' songs. So Roger made the recordings into an album. The time when the album came out，whales were often caught，killed and traded for money. Some kinds were even in danger of dying out. Most people had never thought that whales could communicate through songs. But after hearing the album，they began to think differently. 

The album led people to take action to save whales. Musicians began using whale songs in their music，and whales were included in movies and television shows. In 1982，a ban to stop deep﹣sea whaling was made. Before it，in the 1950s and 1960s，more than fifty thousand whales per year were killed. After it，the number went down below two thousand. 

It might seem impossible that just one album could help save the lives of so many whales. But this album told people secrets about whales that had long been hidden under the sea. It allowed whales to finally share their songs with the human world. 

Chopsticks are a pair of thin sticks for eating. They are the main eating tools for some Asian1 , like China, Korea and Japan. Today, most chopsticks are made of wood, 2 , plastic（塑料）or metal.

Chinese chopsticks are usually 3 than other chopsticks, about 24-26cm,but Japanese chopsticks are about 21-23 cm. They usually have a thin eating end.

Chinese people started to use chopsticks over 4,000 years4 . People of the Shang Dynastyused chopsticks to5 small pieces of food from hot water and hot pots of oil. So in the beginning, chopsticks were much thinner than before those we use today.

In old China, chopsticks were once called zhu. The name has been6 used, but later it became kuai, meaning "quick". Hundreds of years later, the name changed to kuai zi. That is what we call them today.

In Chinese culture, there are some7 of using chopsticks. For example, it is8 to put chopsticks in the mouth for a long time. Don't use chopsticks and bowl or plates to make any noise. And never stick chopsticks straight down into a bowl of rice!

 Have you heard of mental toughness? Often talked about in relation to sports, mental toughness is characterized by the ability to always perform well under stress. Research has shown that it is also a useful quality (品质) for students, with benefits for school achievement, classroom behavior, and relationships with others.

 However, mental toughness is often misunderstood. It is sometimes related to hiding your feelings, or not acknowledging (承认) your weaknesses, which can harm student well-being, as well as school performance and socializing.

 So, what actually is mental toughness, and how can it be developed in schools?

 Students who show mental toughness are aware of and able to control their emotions. This helps them to think clearly under stress, on the day of exams for example. One way to help with this is to encourage students to talk to themselves in a positive and helpful way. Students may be upset if they don't do as well on a task as they hoped. By asking themselves questions, such as"What would I do differently next time?", they can stop focusing on the negatives and direct their attention towards improving in the future.

 Mental toughness means asking for help. Many students are too ashamed to do it, for fear they would show weakness by acknowledging they don't understand something. However, others actually consider it a positive quality. Recognizing when they are experiencing difficulties takes courage for students, but it also shows a willingness to learn and get better.

 Mental toughness is also about being open to learning, not being a know-it-all. Over time, the students who grow the most are those who like to explore things, looking for answers in books, online, or by paying attention to what's happening around them. They also work together, helping each other with challenges.

 What's more, mental toughness involves having a strong sense of self-belief and confidence in one's abilities. Mentally tough students have a clear idea of their goals, and their wills to achieve them are unwavering. They are not easily influenced by others' opinions and are willing to step outside of their comfort zone to reach their goals.

 To create mentally tough students and classrooms, it is important for teachers themselves to be role models. Teachers can develop their mental toughness in much the same way as students. In order to develop mental toughness, both students and teachers should recognize that it、 is about having positive behaviors and attitudes that help them learn and improve.
