On Saturday morning, everyone is happy but Tom is sad. He sits and says"Too bad! It's a nice day. But I have to paint the fence(栅栏)."Suddenly(忽然), he has a good idea.

Tom's friend Ben comes and eats an apple.He says"Tom, I'm going swimming, but you're working."

"I can go swimming every day, but I can't paint the fence every day. I like it!"Tom says.

Ben is surprised(吃惊的). He wants to paint too."Tom, let me paint a little,"Ben says.

"I'm really sorry. It's my work,"Tom says.

"Oh, Tom. Let me try, please!"says Ben."Here, you can eat my apple."

Tom is happy."Fine. Ben, you can paint for a short time."

Then Tom's other friends come. They all want to try. They give Tom a new kite, a cat, a key and more. Tom's friends paint. Tom sits and thinks,"When something is difficult(困难的) to get, everyone wants it."

I have a little pet. It is a cat. It is small and white. I call it Snow White. It is one of my friends now.

Snow White is cute, and sometimes it is naughty(顽皮的). When it is three months old, it tears up the sofa with its claws. I am very an-gry. What should I do? I take a deep breath,count to ten and say sorry to my mum.

When it is seven months old, it eats too much and gets fat. It can't jump or run fast. I am afraid.Maybe it won't grow up. It should do more exer-cise. So, we take it for a walk every day.

When it is one year old, we have a party for its birthday. It eats many kinds of food. But then it feels sick. I am very worried. I think it should see a vet. It is near the Spring Festival now.Snow White is already one and a half years old.It is very cold. My mum thinks it should wear warm clothes. So we make a coat, some jeans and a hat. It is so funny. We are so happy. I love my pet Snow White.

Mr. White lives in a tall building. He lives on the sixteenth floor. Every day, he takes a lift (电梯) up and down. One Saturday afternoon, he went shopping with his little son and bought many things. They drove back and carried all the things up to the lift. Suddenly they saw a piece of paper on the wall. It said, "Dear sirs, there's something wrong. Please use these stairs now." The son took a bag and ran upstairs quickly. But Mr. White walked and walked. At last they stood in front of their door feeling very tired. Mr. White began to look for the keys, but he could not find them. Suddenly he shouted in a loud voice "Oh, no! I've left my keys in the car."

A cunning Wolf

Once there lives a wolf in the forest. Every day he goes up to look for food. There are many sheep and deer in the forest. They are all afraid of him.

One day the wolf sees a group of sheep. He tries to catch them to eat. The father sheep and mother sheep stand together to fight him. So the wolf can do nothing.

Later the sheep have a quarrel. They go away each. When the wolf sees this, he is happy. He catches them to eat one by one. At last he eats all the sheep.
