My grandmother Florence is eighty this year. She is an incredible woman. She is my favourite member of our family. We all call her Granny F, and she lives independently in a small bungalow (平房) with her black cat Sheba and a canary (金丝雀) called Dingles.
Her cosy home has a tiny kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and a bedroom, with a lovely backyard where she enjoys sitting in summer. She leads an active life and goes for an early morning walk in the park every day.Being very independent, she manages all household tasks herself, from cooking to cleaning.
In her free time, Granny F keeps herself busy with various activities. She is an avid (热衷的) reader of books, magazines and daily newspapers.Every Saturday, she visits the local market and works in her garden. She also enjoys spending time with her friends.
Granny F has a large family—four children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.On Sundays, we all gather at her house for tea and her delicious chocolate cake. While we discuss the week's news, the children play in the backyard. We all love and care deeply for our wonderful grandmother.
The summer holiday is coming. In order to get the children out of the room, the community is going to organize a camp this summer.
Camper Handbook We've created a handbook you can download here http://wrww.summercamp.com. It answers many of the questions parents and campers have about DEC Summer Camp. As you've already signed up your kid for this camp, you can check your email box for a copy of the hand-book as well. Please review it and get in touch with us at 569-985 if you have questions. Camphouses About ten people share a wood house, including a coach and a camp volunteer. A general bath house is within 200 feet of each house. The size of a house may not be the same. Camp Rules 1. Sample Schedules Generally, campers get up at 7:00 am and have an early bird activity like swimming or fishing. After breakfast, there are activities until lunch. These may include environmental lessons or biology experiments. A wildlife biologist may guide the campers, After lunch, there are more activities, such as hiking, boating, or field trips, Taking a night walk, star watching, playing games and listening to stories around a campfire are among the choices for the night. |
