九寨沟

Jiuzhaigou valley(九寨沟) national park is in Sichuan. There are lakes, waterfalls(瀑布) , mountains and forests. It is famous for(因……而出名) its mountains and lakes. There are 108 great mountains and colourful lakes. Five Colour Pond(五彩池) is a small lake in Jiuzhaigou valley. It is very clean and clear. We can see many colours in the lake. It may be white, green, blue and so on. The colours can change with the weather and the time during the day.

There are cute pandas, monkeys and other rare(珍贵的) animals in the park. There are also many rare plants in the forests.

Jiuzhaigou valley national park is really wonderful. Come and visit!

    Ruth Kaiser is a photographer from American. She not only smiles a lot, likes finding a" smiley face" in everything. She takes a pictures of those "smiley faces" and shows them on her website (址). Ruth's ideas to collect "smiley faces" started about a year ago. She was taking a picture of a "smiley faces" on the street. A passer-by (路人) asked her what she was doing. Ruth showed the picture to him. The picture made him very happy. And to Ruth's surprise, the passer-by came back a few minutes later. He told her he found a "smiley face" on the street, too.

    Today Ruth has over 2000"smiley face" pictures on her website. Some were taken by her, but most were taken by the people from all over the world. Because Ruth's pictures are so popular, she published( 出版)a book and recently held (举办) her first art show.
