Pandas have been on the earth for about 3 million years. Siberian Tigers（东北虎）Where they live: Northeastern China and Russia. Why they are in danger: People hunt them and destory their habitat（栖息地）. Baby tigers are weak and often die early. Fun facts: A father tiger always leaves his family without saying goodbye. Then the mother tiger takes care of the babies. She is very careful. She hides her babies when she goes out hunting, and takes a different way home. |

Focus on Landscapes This course is for students who know much about watercolors, but are having difficulty with some skills. We will discuss choice of materials, color mixing and something else that may be raised. The day will start with a demonstration (示范), followed by a chance to paint outdoors. After a light lunch in the studio, there will be more practices. A middle school had an activity about turning waste into treasure and encouraged students to share their experiences.
@ Andrew: We made a house for the homeless animals. First, we prepared glue. Next, we drew a picture of the house on the old paper boxes and cut them. Then we stuck them together with glue and made them into a house. Finally, we covered the house with old clothes to keep it away from rain. Little by little, we finished the work, and no one had expected that the house would be so beautiful. @ Colin: I made a flowerpot(花盆) with an old and broken bowl.
