Do you live near Farnham Forest? Do you want to help protect the e{#blank#}1{#/blank#}? If so, just join Friends of Farnham Forest. We're a group of volunteers who look a{#blank#}2{#/blank#}the Farnham Forest. Our group is o{#blank#}3{#/blank#}to people of all ages. We provide you with a great chance to meet new people and do some good for the planet!

Our m{#blank#}4{#/blank#} meet every Sunday. The first Sunday of each month is clean-up day. We p{#blank#}5{#/blank#} up rubbish along the trails(小路) of the forest. On the second Sunday, we listen to a lecture(讲座) about the plants and a{#blank#}6{#/blank#} of the forest. On the third Sunday, we pull up any weeds(杂草) we find growing along the trails. On the last Sunday of each month, we invite some student volunteers to take part in our tree planting or forest cleaning a{#blank#}7{#/blank#}.

To make our environment better, we have tried many different ways. Today, I will introduce one of them to you. Have you seen a kind of {#blank#}1{#/blank#} fish in the water? British scientists made this kind of fish. When you put it in polluted {#blank#}2{#/blank#}, it will become green. Why did scientists make the fish? They think the fish is able to help find out dangerous and dirty things in the water and help {#blank#}3{#/blank#}our rivers. Charles Tyler is the head of the study(研究). He said, "This fish also helps us understand how these dangerous things do harm to our body. It is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} exciting！" Charles said they would like to make more animals or objects to help clean our environment. Now scientists {#blank#}5{#/blank#} their countries are also interested in the project. They all want to make our world more beautiful.

People can eat with forks, spoons, chopsticks or just their hands.

Some people eat rice and vegetables with their hands. They make the food into a small ball in their hands and eat it. In India(印度), we can see many people eat with their hands. Now, many people eat meals with a fork and knife. One fork has four prongs(尖齿). People put food on them and put it in their mouths. And some people use spoons tohave soup and eat food. People used shells(贝壳) or animals' horns (角) to make spoons before. In China, people use chopsticks to eat food. Chopsticks are 

good for picking up rice and noodles from a bowl.

How to "Read" a Film

We like watching films only for fun. When we watch films in this way, we only focus on（关注于）what is on the screen（荧幕）but don't think too much about anything else. A film is something we can read as carefully as a book or poem. 

Here are some things to look for when "reading"（not watching!）a film: 

1. The first important thing to do when you are "reading" a film is to not just pay attention to the story. plot（情节）, or characters. but to how the film is presented（呈现）by the camera. 

2. Pay attention to how the movie opens and ends. 

3. Pay attention to how the film is edited（编辑）or how it cuts from scene（场景）to scene. 

4. Think about the film in acting, music, lighting, sound effects, costumes（服装）, colours, sets, etc. 

5. Finally, think about how the ideas and themes（主题）of the film help you understand it? 

A lot of Chinese here {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (like / likes) to eat noodles. The noodles can be with beef, vegetables, chicken, eggs and vegetables.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (Do / Does) they have noodles with fish? Sure. It's amazing. I like noodles with beef. They're yummy. 

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (Where / What) is Sarah? She is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (cooking / cooks) noodles in the kitchen. Emmm, I feel so hungry.
