The Lantern Festival is an important festival in China. It began 2, 000 years ago during the Han dynasty. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} It also means the end of the Spring Festival celebrations. 

People celebrate the festival in many ways. The lantern show is the most important part of the festival. On the night of the festival, many lanterns are hung in the streets and parks. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} People often go out and watch the lantern show with their family and friends. 

Lantern riddle（字谜） games are also popular during the Lantern Festival. Riddles are written on colourful lanterns. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}

Tangyuan is the traditional food of the Lantern Festival. It can have many different fillings and tastes. Shaped like a round ball, tangyuan is delicious. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} On the other hand, the shape of tangyuan means family reunion. 

{#blank#}5{#/blank#} In the daytime, people can enjoy the performances such as a dragon lantern dance, a lion dance, a Yangge dance and beating drums. At night, except for the beautiful lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Some local governments usually organize a fireworks party. People enjoy themselves during the Lantern Festival.

 Pinyin has been used in other ways, too. It helps to develop the use of Standard Chinese, or Mandarin(普通话), so that people who speak different dialects(方言) can understand each other. It also makes it much {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to type Chinese characters on computers and cellphones.

Pinyin is also finding its place in other languages. The Oxford English Dictionary now {#blank#}4{#/blank#} more than 100 pinyin expression, such as jiaozi for"dumpings" and zhongguomeng for"Chinese dream".

 Foreign media sometimes use pinyin in reporting about China.

 Now, pinyin is not only a language {#blank#}5{#/blank#} , but also a cultural bridge that connects China to the world.

Today, it is a big problem for young people to get fine jobs after they leave university. It is said that there are thousands of different kinds of jobs in the world.    But choosing the right one often worries young people.

Finding a job is not the same as choosing a job. Many young people end up in jobs that they are not suitable for. Here are a few steps to help you think about jobs which you might enjoy doing after school or university.

First, it is important to know what kind of person you are, which special qualities make you better than others and what you are interested in. There is a difference between an interest and a skill. If you like art and enjoy looking at pictures, that is an interest. But if you can draw a horse that looks like a horse not a big dog, that is a skill.

Then ask yourself a question, "In the following three areas-skills with people, skills with information and skills with things, which are my best skills?"

After finding out your best skills, the next step is to do research. To find out as many different kinds of jobs as possible, you should go to the library and read books, magazines and newspapers for information. Ask your friends what they think of the work they do.

The last step is to trust your own ideas and your own thinking! It is your own life. so just find the job you really enjoy doing.
