Sometimes, I wonder whether there was any love between my parents. They were busy trying to 1 their new business. They didn't act romantically. They didn't 2 their feelings. They just got used to the company of each other, and I 3 it as kinship (亲情), not love.

One day, my mother was sewing a quilt (缝被子) I sat down beside her and asked, "Is there any 4 between you and Dad?" She didn't answer at once.

Lake Baikal (贝加尔湖)  is the largest,  deepest freshwater lake in the world.Every winter when the lake freezes over (冻结)  for half the year, 80 -year- old Lyubov skates across the ice wherever she needs to go.

Lyubov has been using the ice to travel around her home for her whole life.As a child, she skated about 2.5 miles each way to school and back.She once fell through the ice and was luckily saved by her classmates.

Lyubov lives alone now in a small house on the bank of Lake Baikal.Her children and five grandchildren don't often visit her because they live five hours away by car.She has to look on a group of dogs, cows and chickens as her friends.Luckily, she has the ice to help her feel free！"For me, ice means being able to go everywhere," the grandmother said.

Every day, she skates half an hour to other villages to do her shopping.With temperatures often reaching -40 ℃  , it' s hard for an old woman to live a normal life.But Lyubov says that her everyday skating enables her to live a long and energetic life. " People keep telling me 1 should slow down, but I just can't , " she said with a smile." I don't have time to be bored; there' s too much work to do."

 How do you know about your family?{#blank#}1{#/blank#} . But for the two sisters Aishvarya and Vaishali, they have different ideas(想法).

 Aishvarya and Vaishali live in America with their parents. Their grandparents live in India (印度).{#blank#}2{#/blank#} . To know them well, the sisters make a book. It's a good book. It has the sisters' questions(问题) and their grandparents' answers(回答).{#blank#}3{#/blank#} .

 To make the book, the sisters go to India to visit their grandparents. Their grandmother tells many stories, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} . He is a quiet man. But he writes many stories.

 The sisters share the book with their friends. One of their friends says, "What a great book!{#blank#}5{#/blank#} ."

It's always a good thing to have a hobby. For Miss Patty, a school bus driver in Erie County, her 1 of knitting（编织）has made her really touch the community.

Miss Patty always wanted to do 2 in her spare time to help the students. After a 3 with one of the students, things took a turn from knitting one hat to knitting more hats.
