To 14-year-old Joe Whale, mistakes are not problems They are good chances to have fun making art. And making art is what Joe has been doing (自从) he was a kid. He was very interested in drawing and a lot of time was spent in practicing his painting skills by him. "I always draw and create art pieces," he said, "(比较) with-my other hobbies, drawing is my favourite ." He added . He was making his specialty black-and-white doodles(涂鸦) at the age of six.
At school, Joe would complete his work very quickly and then he could doodle. He always drew many funny pictures everywhere. Though his doodles gave people a bright feeling, his teachers were not always happy to find his doodles in unexpected places! What was worse, he was even (惩罚) for his action .
Joe' s parents signed him up for after-school art classes. His art teacher provided him with a whole wall to doodle on. It was really the best presents for Joe. Besides, he also posted his works on social media. And at last he became well-known (作为)"The Doodle Boy".
Soon Joe had his first real show. At the age of ninè, he doodled on an eight-foot-by-eight-foot wall of the restaurant in his hometown . He drew (当…时) he was getting down on his knees and standing on a chair. It took him 12 hou. s to fill the wall. His neighbours took (自豪感) in him so much.
Joe doesn't always make plans for his art ahead. He just draws according to what he meets or what he thinks in his (日常的) life. If he meets problems, he just looks around and enjoys (他自己). Joe also gives a useful suggestion to other creative kids: Find what you truly love and don't let(任何人) stop you.
