My home town is Dalian. It is an important city in Liaoning Province in the northeast of China. It has a population of over six million with a history of more than 100 years. It has a lot of beautiful beaches such as the Tiger Beach and the Bangchui Island Beach. Many people go there for holidays and for swimming every year. Dalian is famous for Dalian Discoveryland Theme Park and Xinghai Square. They are very interesting and lots of tourists go to visit them. It is warm in winter and hot in summer in Dalian. The temperature doesn't change very much and it is usually sunny. I think it is a great city. But you'd better bring an umbrella with you.

My name is Mary. I am a girl. I am at the age of thirteen. My birthday is on October 13rd. I am a student at No.1 Middle School. My school life is very colorful because there are many kinds of activities for us this term. On September .21st, we have a soccer game. Our School Day is on October 15th. Our parents can come to our school and see how we study. We have more activities in November, such as the book sharing on November 12th, the English Day on23rd. Besides these, we have an exciting Sports Day on December 16th. Of all the activities, I like the English Day and the Sports Day best, because English is my favorite subject and I like playing sports.

2 you can see, there is a brown guitar hanging on the wall in my bedroom. I like musical instruments(乐器), especially the guitar. It is a guitar 3 a long history but it still looks new. My father got it from my grandfather when he was a teenager and then he 4 it to me as my birthday present three years ago. I always use it 5 . I will give it to my child in the future.

6 second thing is my schoolbag. It is a good schoolbag for middle school students who need to carry7 books every day. First of all, it 8 of a strong material that will stand up to a lot of wear and tear(磨损). In fact, I tested it and it didn't tear easily. Also, the material is waterproof(防水的), so books won't get 9 in the rain. Last but not least, it doesn't weigh a lot. Of course, leather(皮革) schoolbags may look cooler, but they are heavier. 10 a heavy schoolbag is bad for your back, so the truth is, I prefer this one.

① On September 5th, 2022, a 6. 8- magnitude (级) earthquake happened in Luding County in Southwest China's Sichuan Province. Very soon firemen, rescuers (救援者) and doctors came to help. 

② The photo of a young rescue r called Zhang Zili holding a 2- month- old baby in his arms moved many people. Zhang and other rescuers found the baby and her grandmother at their home in a village. Luckily, they didn't hurt badly and were sent to hospital. Zhang got a lovely name "Brother Wenchuan" because the Chinese words of "Wenchuan" are on his armband. 

③ 20- year- old Zhang Zili is from Maoxian County, and it is close to Wenchuan County. We all know a 7. 8- magnitude earthquake happened in Wenchuan on May 12th, 2008. 

④ "My house fell down, so my family had to stay in a tent in a school playground. I still remember the tent was dark and I could hear many kids crying. Then an uncle of the PLA (解放军) came to me. He taught me songs to sing and played with me. He kept saying' Don't be afraid because we are here now'," Zhang recalled. The little boy kept these words in his heart. And he will never forget how those firemen, rescuers and doctors worked hard day and night to save people in 2008. In early 2022, when Zhang Zili learnt that the local forest fire brigade (森林消防队) was recruiting (招募) firemen, he joined it at once.

 In 2023, China's collaboration market will grow to over 100 billion yuan and may . reach 300 billion yuan by 2025. However, wrong collaborations may have undesirable results and even hurt brands.

"The key to making a collaboration work is about how good the products are. The brands should not just pay attention to getting the public excited."
