Scene1 (At Salesman's home)

Narratage (画外音): In a dark dirty house, there lived a small, dirty salesman He always makes unhealthy candies and sells them to the students. He has a lot of money now. But how does he make the candies? Oh, oh! He is coming!

Salesman: Hello, do you know me? No? Oh, let me tell you. I'm the famous candy salesman at the school gate. My candies are very popular, I don't know why. The foolish students always come here. I'll be a boss soon!Candy, money, candy, money...

Oops! It's time to make candies now.

First, put the flour (面粉) on the table.

Then, water, sugar, flour.

Live- streaming(直播) has become very popular in China. Viewers( people who watch it) can communicate with hosts by sending them messages, buying them gifts, or tipping( giving them some money). 

 However, some children are spending too much money on live- stream platforms(平台). Earlier this year, a 17- year old boy in Hubei, sent 150, 000 yu an to a host. That was his parents' life money. 

 To stop things like this from happening again, the National Radio and Television Administration introduced a new rule on Nov 23 to better manage(管理) live- streaming services. 

 The rule bans children from giving money or sending gifts to live- stream hosts and performers. It also asks people to register(注册) on live- streaming sites with their real names. 

 Parents welcome this new rule very much. According to China Daily, about one- fifth of live- stream viewers in 2021were children. 

" Online shows and live- streaming have become so popular. I always feel worried that my son might become lost in them. " said a mother of a 15- year- old boy in Beijing. " Stricter rule makes me feel safer. "

In addition, there are some other ways to help manage live- streaming services. For example, live- streaming platforms will put a limit(限制) on how much money people can send to the hosts. When viewers reach the limit, they will not be able to send gifts or give money. If the host asks viewers to send gifts or tips, he or she will be added to blacklist(黑名单).

Do you know pandas? The animals are so cute that many foreign tourists come to China {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (see) them. And some of{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(they) even choose to stay in China. Abe Nobuko, from Japan, is one of them. 

When Abe was three years old, her grandmother {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(buy) her a toy panda. The little girl liked it so much that she went everywhere with it. When Abe grew {#blank#}4{#/blank#}, she learnt a lot about pandas. One day, her mother said to her, "You like pandas so much. Why don't you find a job that has something to do with pandas?" Abe thought it was {#blank#}5{#/blank#} excellent idea.{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(work) as a panda keeper (饲养员), Abe spent a lot of time {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(learn) Chinese. Then she came to China {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(study) in a university. Three years later, she found a job at the panda base (基地) in Sichuan. 

Abe does her best to make sure all the pandas at the base are {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(health) and happy. "I love pandas {#blank#}10{#/blank#} I love the job," she says.

E. Party glasses — With a full charge, the party glasses can shine for 12 hours. If you wear them, you will become the coolest child at the party.

F. Hand washer — Put your hands into it and the soap bubble will appear. Meanwhile, it has a timer and can tell you how long you wash your hands.

I was in a shopping mall for two hours, so I decided to go and get a cup of coffee. As I was making my way   to the coffee shop, I noticed an old gentleman poorly dressed sitting near the shop. I knew from the first sight that he needed help. He had a little lunch in front of him and was enjoying it. It was clear that he had a problem with his right eye. I then joined the line and waited to be served.

Then it happened, one of the most beautiful gestures I had ever seen in my life. There was a young man in front of me in the line who was also waiting to be served. The next thing I knew was that the young man handed the waitress 20 dollars and requested a glass of juice as a favor(善行). The waitress looked at the young man a little perplexed, not fully understanding the request. That was when the young man asked her to give the juice to the old gentleman eating his lunch outside, as well as the change from the 20 dollars. The young man also told her that he would be watching every second so that she would be completely safe. Then there was a wonderful exchange between the waitress and the old man. I only wished I could take a photo of the smiles on both of their faces.

 As I was considering this event later, I wondered why the young man didn' t perform this act of kindness himself. Maybe he was hoping that this act of kindness might inspire(激励) others to do something for this old man as well.
