Good language learners have lots of courage. They have no room for worries. They often talk happily. Fear doesn't stop good language learners because they know practicing is the only way to get better.

Good language learners often use their nice observation(观察) skills. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}Good listening and self-correcting skills are very important. Good language learners pay attention to the mistakes they have made and correct them. Good language learners are curious(好奇的) when meeting new things. They ask lots of questions. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}Why do you say this word in one situation and that word in a different situation? These questions are about how they learn the new language almost every day.

Good language learners are quite patient {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Good language learners aren't worried about that. They believe one day they'll be able to have conversations with that word.

{#blank#}5{#/blank#} Whether they need the new language for getting a better job or for getting into a famous school overseas, good language learners are deeply encouraged by themselves. They take language learning very seriously.

Have you ever read Little Women by US writer Louisa May Alcott? The classic has been changed into plays, films and television programs many times because of its popularity since it came out in 1868. It tells a story of a mother raising her four daughters, while their dad is away fighting a war. Meg, the eldest, wants to live a better life very much. Jo, the second-born, wants nothing more than to be a writer. Beth is a sweet girl who loves music and always brings joy to others. The youngest daughter, Amy, dreams of being an artist. The girls feel hopeful about the future even though their dreams may not come true. 

After reading Little Women, I have a feeling of warmth and kindness from the family. 

Nearly everybody loves oranges. They are sweet and juicy and it is easy to eat them. Some people also like their colour. 

The orange tree is beautiful. It has a lot of shiny(闪亮的) green leaves. Its small white flowers smell very sweet. An orange tree has flowers and fruit at the same time. 

Farmers in other parts of Asia and the Middle East(中东) learned to plant orange trees from Chinese. Then they taught Europeans how to plant orange trees. Later, Europeans took oranges to America. 

In English, "orange" means both a fruit and a colour. We use the name of the fruit for the colour.
