It was a cold afternoon. Ginny and I were walking home after work {#blank#}1{#/blank#} suddenly a young man came. He asked Ginny if she wanted a hug. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} sign which read "Free Hugs" was in his hand. There were other people with him. They {#blank#}3{#/blank#}( hold) their handmade signs high.

"Sure!"Ginny smiled and walked up to him {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(slow). She hugged him with all the love she had in her heart. "Wow!" he said. "That is {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(warm) hug I've had all day!" Then the young man asked.me {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(give) a hug. I walked into his open arms and said, "You.got it!" Then we parted.

A young lady walked up {#blank#}7{#/blank#} hugged Ginny. Then she hugged me too. I felt the warmth filling my heart. Ginny and I were going through a hard time. We were stressed and worried {#blank#}8{#/blank#} life, but on that afternoon, for a short moment, it was forgotten completely.

"‘Free Hugs' was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives," said the young man. Ginny and I stepped back and watched them work their magic with those who accepted {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (they). They offered hugs to everyone.

It took a simple hug to make all {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(thing) better.

The speech bubble* is a way to show words spoken by characters in comics* or cartoons. The birth of the speech bubble was in the seventeenth century in England. Since then, it has been used together with drawn characters. At that time, cartoonists used the speech bubble sometimes. A cartoon called Hogan's Alley began to use it all the time in 1895. In Japan, they still had to wait until the 1930s to have the speech bubble. 

A speech bubble usually has two parts – the bubble and the tail. The bubble has the messages that the character wants to express. The tail helps tell who has spoken the words. So the tail is always pointed to the character. If a character can't be seen in the picture, the tail may be pointed towards the bubble itself.

There are diverse speech bubbles. One of the most common bubbles is the thought bubble. It usually shows what the character is thinking about or an idea in a cloud-shaped or square bubble. How about expressing strong feelings? The jagged edge bubble can help to show anger or excitement. But when you want to make your character express a secret or just whisper some words, a bubble with dashed lines may be the best choice. One of the funniest bubbles is the wavy bubble with a wavy tail. It sends readers the message that the character is so tired.

The speech bubble is necessary for expressing spoken dialogues. Comic artists must carefully choose and place it in order to express the proper meaning and not to puzzle the reader. The proper use helps bring characters on the paper to life, for they have a "voice".

The Chinese lunar calendar（Nongli） is the traditional Chinese calendar and is often used in agriculture（农业）. In the Chinese calendar, the beginning of the year falls somewhere between late January and early February.

According to the Chinese lunar calendar, the crescent （新月） appears on the first day of each month and full moon comes out in the middle of the month. The cycle lasts for about 30 days.24 days mark 24 divisions of the solar year in the Chinese lunar calendar, according to the different positions of the sun. For example, the division "Lichun" or "the Beginning of Spring" reminds people that spring is coming. "Jingzhe" or "the Awakening of Insects" means that the weather is getting warmer. "Lixia" or "the Beginning of Summer" is the point that crops are blooming. "Dahan" or "the Major Cold" is the end of severe winter. All these create a circle.

The dates of most of the traditional festivals base on the Chinese lunar calendar. Some countries belonging to the Chinese-character cultural circle, such as Japan, Korea, and Vietnam also celebrate the traditional festivals, such as the Spring Festival（Chinese New Year）, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival and so on.

Although Chinese firstly adopted（采用） the Western calendar in 1912, the Chinese lunar calendar, as one of the most important carriers of Chinese culture, is still widely used among Chinese people.

Zhao Hongcheng, born in 1990, is a video content creator who has over 84, 000 followers on the video-sharing platform Bilibili. A wheelchair {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(be) part of her life since she was 1 year old. She uses her platform {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (call) for greater understanding of the lives and needs of disabled（残疾的） people. She wants to be a bridge between the disabled {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the rest of society. She made her first video in 2019, and the rising popularity of short videos gave her confidence. Her fourth video made her even {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (popular) on the Internet. In 2021, she became {#blank#}5{#/blank#} full-time content creator on Bilibili.

In her video about a tour in Shanghai, she find {#blank#}6{#/blank#} hard for the disabled people with a wheelchair to get on the underground, so she put forward some useful {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(advise) for such service. She said if people with disabilities faced such service every day, they would probably give {#blank#}8{#/blank#} traveling. {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (luck), her suggestions were accepted by the city.

But most people with disabilities are not as lucky as Zhao. Some people with minor disabilities were being looked down by companies. She hopes that the rights (权利) of disabled people to receive education can {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (protect) better, and the good news is that equality has improved over the years.
