    Long ago, an Ojibway Indian naming Wenibojo went on a long trip to the forest. When he got hunger, he dug up the roots of a bush and ate them. The roots were tasted good, but they made him sick. Wenibojo looked for everything better to eat. Suddenly he heard the sounds of ducks nearby. He followed the sounds from a beautiful lake, which the ducks were eating plants. Wenibojo tasted one. To his surprise, it was wild rice! He returned his village to tell the people there about the special food. Nowadays, the Ojibways still harvests rice, but only as many as they need. They always left some rice on the farm so that the ducks can eat.

    As was reported that there was an accident at a corner of the Roman Street in this morning. A car ran into a truck and fortunately, nobody got injured. Who will be responsible for an accident is still under investigation. What the police should do now is that they must find out what led the accident. They said it was difficult of them to judge because how the accident happened was not clear. Perhaps the reason was that the driver was too tiring to stop the car in time. The driver didn't admit the fact that he is driving too fast at the turning. The police doubted that what he said was true and decided to make a farther investigation.

    When the dog named Judy spot the first sheep in her life, she set off racing after the sheep across several fields, but fell off cliff. His owner Mike panicked and called the police, who turned up in second. Six volunteers slid down the cliff under the help of a rope but didn't find Judy. For the next two weeks, Mike was felt heartbroken. Then, one day, the phone rang but the police said they had found her at chance. The dog had initially lain unconsciously, but survived by drinking fresh water. "It was because of a plentiful supply of water which the lucky dog survived." The police added.

    Yesterday we took part in a tree planting activity organizing by our class. Early on the morning, we set out for Baotou Reservoir in Xiamen. When we arrived there, we began to work immediately. Firstly, we dug holes what were slightly larger than the root balls. Next, we gentle placed the trees into their new homes. After that, we refilled the holes using enough soil to support the tree roots. Finally, we water the trees. Three hour passed by before we knew them. Tired as we were, we felt excited, talking or laughing all the way home. What unforgettable experience.

    Yesterday morning I was on my way to work. Suddenly I stopped by a woman on the sidewalk. She asked me if I knew how to get to CASS, that is a local shelter for the homeless. I could tell she was extreme upset, so I told her I'd look it up for her on my smartphones. While waiting, she told the she was losing and didn't have money for the bus. I took out of a 20-dollar bill from my purse but handed it to her. Then I accompany her to the nearest bus stop. See the happy smile on her face brightened up my day, either.
