The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO联合国教科文组织) has added China's Spring festival to its list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity（非物质文化遗产). {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.   

 {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. Chinese people value and love their families. This love extends(延伸) to their communities, their nation, and beyond. That's why millions of people travel home for the festival. Celebrations for the Spring Festival last for 15 days and end with the Lantern Festival. During this time, families gather, enjoy festivals, and take part in in various cultural activities.

 {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. From dumplings to niangao, and from tangyuan to fish, all dishes carry good wishes for people's loved ones. Whether you are in China, from north to south, you can find special foods for the festival.

The Spring Festival also includes(包含) many traditions and stories. For example, people once used fireworks and red decorations(装饰) to drive a beast(野兽) called "nian" that hurt people and animals at the beginning of the new year. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

Scientists once did an interesting study. They put a mother in one place. They put her two-year-old child in another place. There was a telephone line between them. Soon, the mother and child were talking to each other. The mother and child, in this science study. were dolphins.

Dolphins are interesting animals. Many types of dolphins live in large ties. They have many different relationships and need a good communication system That explains why they need to speak up.

Scientists have known for a long time that animals can "talk" with each other. But dolphins have a special way of talking When they are in a group, they mainly use different sounds to express purposes. Scientists believe that the dolphins really are talking. However, they don't know what exactly the dolphins are saying.

Recently at Kewalo University in Hawaii, researchers have had some amazing results. Not only do the dolphins understand the meaning of human words, they also understand the importance of word order. For example, when they were asked to "touch the ball with your tail and then jump over it", they could perform the actions in the correct order.

Dolphins use body language, too. They "tell" something to another dolphin by moving their body in a special way. They also do it by opening and closing their mouths quickly.

Scientists hope to understand more about the dolphin language. They still have a lot to find out about these animals and so there are certain to be a few surprises in the future.

This is Fu Bao, the first giant panda born in South Korea. She returned to the Panda Center Wolong Shenshuping Base in China on April 3rd. After she returned, working teams {#blank#}1{#/blank#} their best to save her. They {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Fu Bao very carefully so now she is very healthy. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the morning of June 12th, the panda star could finally meet the public. At 9:35 am, she walked into the yard {#blank#}4{#/blank#}, looking around curiously. After exploring her yard, she found the bamboos for her in the playground and then began to enjoy {#blank#}5{#/blank#} them happily.
