People usually eat traditional food on special festivals. A special day in China is the Laba Festival. This festival falls on the eighth day of the 12th lunar month. On that day, people souse（腌）Laba garlic（蒜）. Here is one way to make it.
First, p the garlic and put it into a clean bottle.
Then, a some salt and sugar. M them together and souse for 30 minutes.
Next, cook some rice vinegar for 5 minutes and p the rice vinegar into the bottle of garlic.
When it is r, seal（密封）the bottle. The garlic will turn green in about 5 days.
