Bullying (霸凌) is a serious problem at school. It makes students feel lonely, unhappy, and afraid. It makes them feel like there must be something wrong with them. It even makes some kids not want to go to school or play outside. In other words, it's very important not to let bullying ruin (毁坏) your life!

Okay, so there you are, and someone is bullying you. What do you do "in the moment"?

★ Ignore the bully. Don't even look at him. Walk right past him if you can.

★ Don't cry or get angry. Even if you're feeling really hurt, don't let it show. That's the bully's goal (目标). You can talk about or write down your reactions (反应) later.

★ Turn and walk away, or run if you have to. Make yourself stay away from the situation. Go to a place where an adult (成年人) is present.

★ Remember that you are not the one with the problem. It's the bully who has the problem.

★ If you're being called names or teased (取笑), imagine that you're inside a huge fish tank (缸) filled with white fog. Nothing touches you. Practice by thinking of the worst things a bully can say to you, then letting the fog eat them up.

★ If you're being bullied again and again, there's one "Most Important Thing" you should do: Talk to an adult. Start with your parents. If the bullying happens at school, make sure your parents discuss it with a school official (官员) not with the parents of the bully. Make it clear to the adult that you are really upset by what's going on. This is especially true if the bullying is verbal (言语) bullying.

Kate is both my classmate and my best friend. I first met her when I went to junior high school

Kate is tall and slim(苗条的). She has long hair. She has big eyes and a small nose. I like her smiling face best It makes her look really pretty and kind. Kate is a friendly girl. She always has a smile on her face and looks happy. She likes to help people. She helps me with my homework and she is very patient. When I feel bored or unhappy, I often go to her. She will talk to me and tell me interesting things. 

Kate wants to work with children. She would like to be a teacher when she grows up. I think she will be a great teacher. 

 Cats and dogs are some of the most popular pets. There is an old question-which one is better and why?

 If you ask me, I'm a cat person through and through. To me, there is nothing better than having a cat of your own. Every time I see a cat, I am filled with so much joy! Don't even get me started on all of the cute cat videos online. 

 Cats are very independent animals. They like to have their personal space. But this doesn't mean that they don't love their humans(人类). Cats may seem standoffish(冷淡的) at first, but they can quickly warm up to their owners and become their very best friends. 

 Cats can also be a lot of responsibility (责任) and hard work. For example, cats like to be clean. You usually don't need to give them baths, but you do need to keep their fur clean and clean their litter boxes every day. Not only this,    ▲    . Cats don't need to go outside for daily walks like dogs do, but it's important to give them a lot of exercise through playtime. 

 For me, cats are the perfect friends. There's nothing better than a cat sitting next to you after a long day of work. So why not choose cats as your pets?

①Giethoorn is a magical village in northern Netherlands. It's so fantastic that some people have a hard time believing it's real. Although the small village has no roads or cars, it has plenty of boats!

②Giethoorn's most noticeable feature(特色) is its canals(运河). They serve as the village's roads. With the feature, it gets another name" Dutch Venice". Local people get around by boat or bicycle, and if they have cars, they have to park them outside the village. Boats are certainly the most important ways of transportation(运输). Bridges connect most homes and businesses, but some houses can only be reached by water. That's why postmen have to send mails by boat. 

③The second thing that visitors notice is the quiet. With a population of just over 2, 700 and without any noisy traffic, the village is what many people call a quiet oasis(绿洲). "In Netherlands'water village, the loudest sound you can normally hear is the sound of a duck or the noise made by birds, " a villager there said. 

④But that isn't to say the village is not a popular place. In fact, it has become a place of interest, offering comfortable hotels and delicious meals at waterside restaurants. 

⑤With all those wonderful views, Giethoorn is a perfect place for holiday. Would you go there if you had a chance? Visiting Giethoorn is certainly on many persons'tour list. We only have one question: When can we order the air ticket to Netherlands?

 One day, Mario drives(开车) from his house to his mother's house with his dog, Zoe. Because it is his mother's birthday. But his car can't work in the desert(沙漠).

"Who can help me?" Mario says. "No one can help me..."

 Zoe looks at Mario and runs away(离开). Mario is not happy about that.

 The sun is very hot and it's 40℃ every day. Mario doesn't have water or food.

"It's the last day. I will die(死). I can't meet my mother..."

"Woof! Woof!" "Here! Here! There is a man!" Frank runs to Mario.

"You have a good dog. He finds me and I find you."

"Thanks, my Zoe."
