I am Daming. Welcome to Beijing zoo. We have many kinds of animals here. 

Now let me tell you the time of animal shows in our zoo. At nine o'clock in the morning, you can watch the Panda Show (表演). Pandas are very cute, right? The Monkey Show is one hour later. It's from ten o'clock to eleven o'clock. There are many kinds of monkeys and they are very naughty. After that, you can have lunch in our zoo. There is much delicious food in our restaurants. At half past two in the afternoon, we have the Elephant Show. I think you will love it, too. Then we have the Zebra Show at three o'clock. My favourite animals are monkeys, so the Monkey Show is my favourite. Monkeys eat meat, leaves and fruit. Do you like them? What's your favourite animal? What animal show would you like to watch?

Last summer my parents took me to visit my uncle's family and I was so excited. My uncle lives on a big farm. It's about 100 {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(平方的) kilometres. Their house is at the foot of a large mountain. I always have a good time there.

When we got there, we first went out for a picnic with my uncle's family. We climbed to the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (顶端) of the mountain. The wind was so cool and the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(风景) were so beautiful. My cousin Rob {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(展示)me some interesting huge stones. They all had unusual {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(外形;形状). Some look like animals, and some look like {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(人). I really hoped I could take one home, but they were too big!

In the afternoon, my cousin Rob took me to the forest. We walked along a {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(小路) and found a hole. It was a trap(陷阱) for hunters(猎人) to {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(抓住) little animals. We found a rabbit amd saved it. Then we saw some squirrels(松鼠) and played with them for a while. When we got home, we were so hungry and {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(渴的). We had a good dinner together. After dinner we watched TV for a while and then we went to bed.

The next day Rob {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(唤醒) me up early in the morning. We went to see the sunrise. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was so beautiful! We enjoyed it very much.

I like reading. I love many different kinds of books, because they not only open my mind but also   {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(鼓励;激励) me a lot.

Up to now I have read a lot of books, such as magazines, storybooks and  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(长篇小说). But one of the books that I like best is The Story of My Life. Helen Keller wrote it in 1903. She was a blind and deaf  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(人). In the book, she wrote that she had not been able to see, hear or speak  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(自……以来) she was one year and seven months old. This unusual thing made her very sad. Luckily, she  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(遇见) her good teacher, Miss Sullivan, at the age of seven. Helen was getting  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(更高兴的) every day. Then, Miss Sullivan helped her learn how to write English words. At first, Miss Sullivan wrote some words on Helen's hands  {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(用……) her own fingers again and again. Helen was a very hard-working girl. She tried as much as possible to   {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (记住) words. After that, she wrote many famous works, which was a huge   {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(成功;成就) for anyone like her.

It shows us an important truth: Nothing is difficult if you put your  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(心) into it! This is why I like the book best.

Cell phone s have been increasingly {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(流行的) in China these days. Many college students even high school students, have cell phones. Some even can't live without them.

 Chongqing Three Gorges University held an activity {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(命名)" Cell Phone Ninja" They would like the students not to use cell phones for 21 days. It was really a challenge for most students. But many of them wanted to face it as {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(勇敢地) as they could because it was so meaningful.

 The activity started on {#blank#}4{#/blank#}( 四月)12th Each student who took part in it got a bracelet*. Whether the students used cell phone s or not, there would be a photo on the{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(屏幕) of the bracelet. After the last class of each day, the students sent the photos to the school's {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(公众)WeChat.

 According to the teachers in the university, the students who {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(完成) the task successfully would get a present. In fact, the activity was not a competition {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(在…中间) students. It depended on students themselves to make the {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(决定). The teacher hoped that this activity could not only help students from better study habits but also become one of{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(他们的) most unforgettable experiences.

I really missed my first Spring Festival with Caroline, my friend, in the UK. It was an {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(不平常的) festival for me. To {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(庆祝) the festival, I treated Caroline to a Chinese dinner that day. Caroline {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(悬挂) balloons and {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(灯笼) in the dining room. When I put the last dish,"the lion's head", on the table, she was {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(震惊的). She thought it was against the law to eat a lion's head. In fact, it's a pork meatball. My family always have it at the Spring Festival. The round {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(形状，外形) stands for family {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(团圆). Caroline cut a {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(片) and put it into her mouth. The {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(味道) of it was so delicious that Caroline ate a whole one. We joked and enjoyed the food. Our {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(笑声) filled the room. I felt like I was back home.
