Do you go to school every day by bike or in your parents' car? The American English teacher Margaret tells her story about taking a school bus in America.

    When I'm a primary school student, I love taking the school bus. It is interesting to talk to my friends and play games on the bus. It is like children-only party every morning and afternoon. On the school bus there is only one adult（成年人）—the driver. Most of the time, we are well-behaved because we like the driver and don't want to make him unhappy. But one day, one of the boys makes a face at a policeman driving behind our bus. The policeman makes our bus driver stop. Then he scolds（训斥）the naughty boy loudly. We all behave well after that!

    It isn't comfortable for young people to wait for the school bus in winter（冬天） because it is very cold, especially when there are strong winds（风）. Some students in cities have bus shelters（遮挡）, but country children have to jump（跳）up and down to warm up. Hurry up, spring!

Ethan was riding his new bike. When he got to the end of the road, he turned around. He stopped the bike in front of Mom. 

"See? I never fall anymore. Can I ride to the park alone now?"

Usually, when Ethan rode a bike to the park, Mom or Dad came along. But this time, he was sure he could do it on his own. 

Mom looked at Ethan and said, "OK. But there are lots of cars on the street when you ride. You must be careful of them. And remember to come home early. Now, have fun on your own!"

Ethan felt excited to hear this. The park wasn't far from his home. Ethan looked both ways when he rode into the street, and he remembered his mom's words. At the end of the street, Ethan had to turn right to get to the park. He used his arm to make the signal (信号) so cars would know where he was going. 

When Ethan arrived at the park, he slowed down. He parked his bike and ran to find his friends. 

"You know what? I rode my bike here all by myself!" Ethan said. "It's very cool to do it on my own."

Grade 7 students from Guangming Middle School had a class outside the classroom. They had a 1 farming class in the fields(田地). Everybody loved it!

Farmers introduced wheat ( 小 麦 ) to the students and answered 2 questions. The farmers also 3 them around the fields. They le arnt that 4 usually harvest(收获) wheat in September.

"I 5 some notes in my notebook." said Daming. He learnt that eating wheat can be good for people.

Other students also learnt something new."I know about wheat only from 6 . This time, I see real one and learn how it 7 ." said Dongdong.

 Before this, Lingling thought that farming was something old.8 this trip changed(改变) her ideas."I see really cool farming machines(机器), and they show me how farming changes and gets 9 ." said Lingling." Farming changes10 . I'm so excited to see it in this lesson!"

Martin shook his money box again. Nothing! He carefully counted the 1 that lay on the bed. 32 dollars was all that he had. The 2 he wanted was at least 100 dollars! 3 on earth was he going to get the rest of the money?

He knew that his friends all had bicycles. It was 4 to hang around with people when you were the only one without wheels. He 5 what he could do. There was no 6 asking his parents, for he knew they had no money to spare.

The day 12 came when Martin counted his money and found $104.32. He 13 no time and went down to the shop to pick up the bicycle he wanted. He rode 14 home. He looked 15 to showing his new bicycle to his friends. It had been difficult working for the money, but Martin knew it was a valuable experience. He had done what he thought was impossible, and that was worth (值得) even more than the bicycle.
