Today is my birthday. I'm 16 years old. I'm not a little boy running in the hallways(走廊) at school. I wanted to know who would 1 my birthday. I really wanted to have a birthday cake because I wanted to 2 .But I got up and found my 3 didn't do anything. My father was 4 a newspaper on the sofa. My mother went out to buy some things for lunch. I5 my computer and went online. There were just some people online. No one said 6 about my birthday. After thirty7 , my mum came back. She went into the8 and cooked. It seemed that the world forgot me and I wasn't9 at all. I said to myself, "You are 16 now. You're not a child. Forget your birthday."

But when I was doing my maths homework, my 10 came to me and asked, "What kind of cake do you want?"11 a surprise(惊喜)! At that time, I didn't know12 to say. I chose a chocolate cake in the end. I knew that the whole world may forget me,13 my mum wouldn't.

Also, when I went online in the evening, I talked to my friends. Many of them said happy birthday to14 . And my phone was full of text messages(短信)saying"Happy birthday".

Mr. Black is the best doctor in a hospital. He is quite busy at work during the day. So he1 have a good rest at home. He often goes to bed2 after supper. Mr. Black lives in an apartment.

Although Mr. Black tells Jeff about it8 , the young man forgets it soon.

One day, Jeff was ill. He had to go to the hospital and Mr. Black was just his doctor . " If you stop9 the piano at night, you'll be all right10 !" When the young man left, a nurse asked, "Is playing the piano really bad for his health , Mr. Black?" "No," said Mr. Black, "But it is bad for mine!"

Last summer holiday, I went bungee jumping (蹦极) with my best friend, Tony. I was very happy at first. But while Tony was going up, I just stood on the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}because I was a bit afraid. "Come on, Bill.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} me!" Tony said. I thought about it for a while and went up. I took all the things out of my pocket. I tried twice. Then I jumped and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} down. It was fast. Finally, I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} safely. I was so {#blank#}5{#/blank#} that I wanted to go bungee jumping again. 

One day, a(n) 1 woman came in the store where I worked. I welcomed her to the store, and she immediately started up a conversation, telling me her name was Barbara and asking me about my day. I stepped out to walk with her and nodded along while she 2 .

Before Barbara left, she said, "Thank you for making me feel forty years younger today."

 It was 4:00 in the afternoon. Pam and Myles ran into the house1 and turned on the TV.

" 2 does Crazy Cat do today?I can't wait to see," Pam said.

"I know. He..." Myles 3 when he saw a different show on TV.

"Did you turn to the wrong channel(频道)? " Pam 4 . Then she looked for Crazy Cat on the Internet. "They put it off to next Monday!" she said 5 .

"What?" Myles said. "What do we do now?"6 older brother, Brian, walked into the room. Pam and Myles told him about the 7 news. "I love Cracy Cat very much8 he is like Oscar," Pam said and turned to her fat 9 sitting on the sofa.

"I have a(n)10 ," Brian said and then went to his room. A minute later he11 with his video camera(摄像机). "Why don't you follow Oscar around and12 a Crazy Cat show by yourselves?"

 Pam and Myles looked at each other and13 . Myles took the video camera from Brian. Pam rolled(滚动) Oscar' s14 soccer ball across the floor, and Oscar jumped out of the 15 to run after it. Oscar climbed up the ball and rolled over it. Pam and Myles were happy that the Crazy Cat show could keep going.
