My name is Bob. This summer I went to Shimla and Manali with my family.

After we arrived at Manali on the first day, we lived in a cheap hotel. The next day we were very excited to visit Manali. After delicious breakfast at the hotel, we went on sightseeing tours in the city. We were very surprised to see the fantastic and beautiful nature with high mountains and thick forests around. Then we visited some other places of interest.

The third day after breakfast we went to Rohtang Pass, about 51 kilometers away from Manali. It was really beautiful and we enjoyed a lot by watching the beautiful Himalayas. Then we visited Solang Valley.

The fourth day we went to Shimla by car. After we got there, we had a good sleep at the hotel and woke up in the early morning with the excitement of Shimla tours. After breakfast we visited Shimla. We visited lots of attraction (有吸引力的地方).

The fifth morning we went to Chandigarh Railway Station by car. We took the train to Delhi and returned to our home with the sweet and nice memories of Shimla and Manali tours.

I have always been interested in the animal world. Recently, I read a book about animals called A Lion's Travelling. Chinese writer Shen Shixi wrote it.

The book tells the story of five lions. After they are made to leave their home, one is hurt by a giraffe. Another is killed by a hunter. The third one dies during a fight for water. The fourth lion dies in the river. Only the youngest one, named Red Ribbon, is still alive. After going through many difficulties, he finally becomes the lion king.

The story shows the love and care between friends, the life and death faced by brothers, the determination (决心) to deal with challenges. The fact that the young lion finally becomes the king teaches me a great lesson: Those experiences of going through difficulties will make us stronger. Everyone will face lots of difficulties during their lifetime. We should learn to stay strong and keep finding our better selves.

The book is full of something exciting about the life of lions. Together with lovely pictures, it gives readers a wonderful experience. If you want to read the great story and learn a lot about the animals in the real world, choose it!

 When you think of the sea, you may not think of Xinjiang or Inner Mongolia. But recently, the" seafood" produced in these places has become popular, especially after Japan put muclear- contaminated water(核污染水) into the sea, reported China Daily.

 In Nilka county(尼勒克县) in Xinjiang, about 6,000 tons of rainbow trout(虹鳟鱼) will be produced this year. Rainbow trout belongs to the same family as salmon(鲑鱼), which is a kind of well- known seafood. It tastes like salmon too.

 Why do farmers there choose to grow fish? The weather in some parts of Xinjiang is seldom hot, and the rivers are fed by meltwater(融水) from the Tianshan Mountains. Water deeper than 6 meters always stays at 10 C. As the meltwater is very clean and cold, it's a" comfortable" home for fish, Li Chunyu, a worker at a fish company in Xinjiang, told China Daily.

 To make sure the river stays clean, the company uses machines to clean fish waste in the water. They also use net cages(网箱) that are good for the environment. The net s are about 51 meters wide and lie 25 meters deep in the river.

 Meanwhile, in Inner Mongolia, whitele g shrimp(南美白对虾) grows well. Saline soil(盐碱土) covers a large part of the desert where few plants are able to grow. Farmers used to put water from the Yellow River onto the farmland to wash away the salt. This was a waste of salty water.

 Scientists then decided to create" seawater" with the salty water by adding in some other components. Whiteleg shrimps can live well in this kind of water. They taste no different from the same kind of shrimp that grows in the sea.

Do you find that your dinners with your parents are less happy than before? Do you find it easier to chat in the past but now it's difficult? Do you and your parents often disagree on things? You're not alone. Many kids and their parents have such experiences. 

When you're growing up, your body changes a lot. You might worry about getting taller or heavier than your friends, or about your voice changing or getting spots on your face. When you feel worried, you might get angry at your parents sometimes. 

It's also hard to balance(平衡) your feelings as you grow up. You get to a strange time called middle ground— no longer a small child but not quite an adult(成人). You want to do things by yourself more, but you still need your parents' love and help. You want to make decisions by yourself, but your parents might not always agree. This can make you feel sad. 

But don't worry too much about arguments with your parents. Many kids have them too. The most important thing is to talk to them. Tell them how you feel, even if it's hard. They might not agree with you right away, but if you keep talking and listening to each other, you can find a way to make things better. 

Remember, your parents love you and want to help you. Sometimes they forget how hard it is to grow up. But if you keep talking to them and trying to understand each other, you can work things out. So keep trying, and you'll find that you and your parents can get along just fine.
